Site 2 - Platypus
Beautiful spot in nature for the kids to play outside during the day and the family to cuddle by the fire at night. So peaceful with only the sounds of the birds or occasional cow. We were on our own for most of the stay, but sites seemed to be well spaced. Well maintained portaloo by nice owners, added bonus of having firewood available and the kids getting to see the diary up the road. A handful of cars each day on the road, but able to camp back far enough that it wasn't a concern for our kids or dog, plus the 4y/o enjoyed seeing the tractors and milk tanker. Optus phone and internet coverage available if needing/wanting to stay connected. We will be back and will be bringing our friends.

What awesome people the property owners are (Garry a Natalie). The camping area is very easily accessible with clearly signed entrance, manicured grass areas to camp and Harry even provided some firewood at no cost. Pleasant surrounds and only a few sites so you’re not over-run. It made my partners day that we got invited to an afternoon milking run up on the farm property, To Garry and Natalie were very gracious with how you allowed us access to your property, it certainly made Sonia’s day mixing it amongst the dairy cows and so many calves.

Natalie and Garry have set up a relaxing and tidy camp close to swimming, hiking, touring, and most importantly great food at the local pub.
It gets cold in winter so pack for it and bring some extra wood to get the fire pit raging!

Cute little place. Not much of a view but lovely to hear the cows and birds. Ground flat and very easy to park level.
Convenient for local hiking and the donuts for breakfast.

We really liked the place, it was very well looked after. The toilet was spotless, super clean, and smelled good. The views of the green meadow were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. We would definitely go back again.

Lovely for a peaceful two night getaway.
Great host, Greg paid a short visit to say hello. Lovely mowed grounds to camp on with a Porta loo and your own fire pit. The creek was lovely, a summer swim could be nice.

Great spot! We didn't get to meet Natalie, but Garry was such a nice bloke. He invites us up to watch the cows get milked in the afternoon and have a play with the calves which the kids loved. The camp sites were tidy, the toilet was clean. Lovely people, lovely spot and great price. Wasn't hot enough to swim but the creek looked beautiful! We will definitely be back!

Great spot! Farmers Garry and Natalie were very accommodating. Offered us too come see the dairy while they were going to milk. We’re able to have a fire. Also has phone and internet service.

An absolutely wonderful little campground in the Mary Valley. Extremely large camp sites with the relaxing sounds of the nearby creek. Friendly staff and well maintained grounds. Definitely will be returning.

Very peaceful area, don't be put off by the nearby road, very few cars seen over the stay. Creek is wonderfully refreshing. Garry stopped in a couple times to make sure we were all good but never out stayed his welcome

Site 3 - Bellbird
Fantastic site and fantastic hosts! Perfect place to getaway in the camper trailer for a weekend, with kids and big dogs off leash! Lots to do including great swimming hole for adults, kids and the dogs, right next to campsite. The grounds were very neat and a well maintained path cut along Kandanga Creek. Hosts Garry, Natalie and Zac, were just amazing - treating everyone to a tour of the dairy farm and up close encounter with the new born calves and dairy cows brought in for milking. They were wonderful with the kids and gave them a taste of farm life - with a couple of the boys even taking a ride on a large tractor. The kids had an amazing weekend! We can't thank the hosts enough! We will be back for sure 💙
