** KIDS UNDER 12 ARE FREE - Do not add them to your booking but please send me a message so I'm aware of how many people are coming. Levi, Chilli and myself have lived here for 15 years raising Tbones. We average 80 head of steers and fatten them for 18months, season dependant. We bred Santa’s for a couple years, and then decided steers were the go. Less work ;).  There is no cattle on our property at the moment, but we are surrounded by them. Nat will send you an email with maps, directions, rules, attractions & Cuisine in the area, other accommodation in the area and general information 3 days before your arrival.  An SMS will be sent to your mobile number with directions to your spot also.  Please share this information within your group.  To comply with council, you have 2 "sites" to choose from... Site One is down the front of our property near the creek (This site is 65 acres).  I will suggest a spot when I receive your request, or if you've been here before, let me know where you'd prefer and I'll try to accomodate. Site Two is up the back of the property (This site is 25 acres).  Same deal goes.  So in saying that, for COVID purposes and keeping everyone at a distance, I have listed two Sites on HipCamp, as per council regulations.  You have the option of requesting either the "Mount Kilcoy Creek Camp - Site One" (near the creek) or "Mount Kilcoy Creek camp - Site Two (18+ Bush Camp)". We have around 17 horses on the property. They range from miniatures up. Chilli (15), my daughter, competes at barrel racing events. Her love for horses is admirable.  About 10 of them are retired/rescue/unwanted horses that just enjoy their last days chewing grass. Some of them are 30+ years old and quite frail. You may see Levi (17) around on his motorbike cutting laps here and there. He enjoys bikes and competes in MotorCross events. So you can see I have my hands pretty full with their itineraries over the years. Lol Our 400+ acre property is our paradise. We bought this place in 2003 and eventually built 2 residences. One is a caretakers cottage (Green House) which Kev has lived in for 12 years+ and the other is the White House on the hill, which is our family home. Family and friends have enjoyed sharing this cool property with us over the years. I promised I would open a few campsites to allow others to experience it also. Hipcamp has given us the gateway to be able to invite people to stay. Booking through them is the only way you’ll be able to book in a site. We have kept the prices low to accommodate for families. Why am I doing this?  Creating a clear path for struggling farmers to generate some income from hosting campers, generate income for our small businesses in Kilcoy with tourists, diversifying options for my fellow avid campers, and also mental awareness during this recession and COVID times. Feel free to explore the creek. There is about 400 metres from the bridge down to the fence that runs across the creek. The pink tape indicates this is our boundary. Please don’t go past this point. Our awesome neighbours, Brian and Judy, enjoy their solitude.  We also have 2 dogs. Boss (Boston terrier) and Shelia (Bluedog). We are very open to hearing your thoughts and ideas on how we can improve our little venture. This is all very new to us and our main objective is to give other families the opportunity to experience our piece of paradise. Relax, unwind by a fire and enjoy some quiet time away in the country.     Beautiful, calming, relaxing, loved

    We stayed here a few weeks ago and couldn’t wait to get back, this host is having trouble with a neighbour complaint and the council are involved, the host needs support to bring business to the local community as well as Helping with campers mental health being able to unwind in these odd times of COVID 19 The last thing anyone needs is a disgruntled neighbour getting council involved with no reason to. Please contact this host and give her any support you can, we will return if this stays open and help boost the local Kilcoy economy

    A real country feel. It's wonderful these farms open their gates to campers. It allows families to get out relax, spend time together. Being self sufficient makes it safer, as well as no extra worry for the farm to supply amenities. I like the idea of Our wonderful Farmers getting a little bit extra money, to help them out.     Exceptional host. Pre arrival information was outstanding and super easy to follow. The property is stunning and beyond peaceful. Loved the horses and their antics. We can’t wait to go back to our new patch of camping paradise. Nat is truely an awesome person both inside and out

    This was such a beautiful place to stay with stunning views of the rolling hills and the mountain. Nat’s horses were a treat and loved to say hello. Such a quiet and peaceful place to stay if you need to get away out of the riff raff. Nat was very lovely and came to meet us and to have a chat. Would definitely stay again.

    Thanks Nat, we had a great 3 night stay with you. 3 families, 6 adults and 6 young kids, and we all had an amazing time! Very relaxing for the adults, lots of exploring and adventure for the little ones, especially in the creek. We will definitely be back.

    My husband and myself stayed at Mt Kilcoy Creek Camp.... Nat ( the owner) is a lovely person and the spot was just perfect for us.... it was so peaceful and had lovely views... We would recommend it to anyone wanting a nice break away. Joan

    Well what can i say except that we had a brilliant time. Nat was a great host, the wood was perfect and not that cheap stuff you get from the side of the road but real wood. Great place and highly recommend (but you do need your own toilet) We will be back many more times. Loved it

    Hi, just a quick review to same we really enjoyed our stay of 2 nights 3 days. The sites are open and large vans can get in quite easily. The restriction on numbers of people per site for us is a great advantage. The distance between camp sites allows for a degree of privacy which is hard to fined.

    Valley Flats Paddock Camp
    We had an amazing weekend! The open spaces surrounded by the beautiful mountains were perfect for our large group! The kids wandered down to the beautiful creek and played for hours. A football game in the afternoon followed by drinks around fire watching the fog roll in over mountains! Beautiful

    Wow, what can we say! Spectacular property with amazing views where we were located on the property. Nat was a very lovely host making us feel very welcome. We would loved to have stayed longer it was sad to leave. Great location for exploring the surrounding areas. Can't wait to go back

    Was welcomed by Nat not long after setting up and surprised the kids with marshmallows. Very welcoming. We were able to relax while the kids explored the creek. Peaceful with nice views and campsites well spaced so you don’t notice anyone. Can’t wait to go back.

    This is my families first experience using Youcamp and we could not have been any luckier with the place we booked. Mount Kilcoy Creek Camp and its beautiful sandy creek is heaven on earth, Nat's communication/instructions were A+. Thanks for having us.

    Well we are making this place our favourite, Nat is a wonderful host, so friendly, during our stay we saw horses, cattle deer and amazing sun rises over the property We will be back for sure 5 ⭐️

    We had a great couple of nights and days at Shady Tree Creek Camp. Beautiful view of the mountains and the open paddock all to ourselves... Nat was there to greet us and was very good at communicating with us from when we enquired... We would love to come back again with a larger group.. Thanks Nat

    Loved our stay at Lowndes zoo, definitely have to try all the camp sites. Beautiful mountain views. Spent hours watching the crazy horses go about their day. Very friendly. Just wanted to have a pat, especially the 2 mini horses.

    Great spot. Flat camp site well off the road. Views to the ranges. Brilliant night sky. Short walk to the creek where we spent hours relaxing. Fireplace provided. BYO firewood. Would go again.

    This was out 1st time booking through YouCamp so we weren’t sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised! The host Nat was great, made us feel very welcome. The spot was amazing, so beautiful & peaceful. Will definitely be back!
