Shady nook
I loved staying here! The few days leading up to our trip they had received a drenching but George was happy to still host us if we were still keen to visit…yes there was mud but well let’s just say, we were not disappointed at all!
Kids paddle boarded in the dam, played on the swings, swam in the pool which is was beautiful mineral pool, we were allowed to take over the boom box, which meant we sang and danced most nights while playing pool! Ohhh and then the Easter bunny came to us all too 🤤 🍫 Added bonus it was only 10 min drive into town to visit the beach, the Easter local markets and 1770 Gelato! Definitely recommend everyone to stay a night with George and his wife!!

We loved camping for our two nights stay at George's Hipcamp. It was super easy to find, thanks to George's directions. There has been a lot of rain recently, but it was pretty dry and a very clean site, on grass, which I personally prefer. We absolutely LOVED the magnesium pool, which was a godsend to cool off in the summer Agnes temperatures also.

Loved camping at Georges place. Great Dam, and pool. If you're game, give the zipline a go. George was very friendly and it was an easy site to navigate. All had a great time. Highly recommend.

More than happy to help with anything needed if needed, His property is beautiful and takes great care of it, Plus the kids loved swimming in the pool!

We loved everything about our stay. Such a beautiful spot and George is the perfect host. Really friendly and welcoming. The pool was perfect for our girls and they loved the slide! Would definitely come back again.

Such a beautiful spot to stay and the pool is amazing🤩 Great for families with kids and the hosts are lovely and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back and stay again . Location is fantastic also, you won’t be disappointed ✌️
