Runner up for the best caravan spots in Australia 2024 - Hipcamp Award Logan Park Farm is an historic 4th generation family farm with beef cattle and cropping set on the Logan River with beautiful surroundings in the Scenic Rim. The property was first settled in the 1840’s and became the headquarters of Tamrookum Station in 1878 when Robert Collins and his family purchased the property. Just over an hour from the Gold Coast and Brisbane. At Logan Park Farm we have camping grounds and Murphy's Country Accommodation - a three bedroom cottage. Search for "Murphy's" through Hipcamp. Scenic Rim Regional Council Camp Ground Licence Acc21/0010. There are no facilities here, if you do not have toilet facilities please do not book any of our sties. Please arrive to camp prior to dark. Message host if you need to arrive later. The camp sites are spacious with plenty of distance between each site - no crowds. Each site is for your group only. Open for bookings for Christmas and New Year - numbers are limited. No large parties. We prefer to promote a quieter area. Beautiful sunsets, mountain views, birds and quiet surroundings. Enjoy the stars on a clear night. Explore the beautiful Scenic Rim area from here. Visit the historic Tamrookum All Saints Memorial Church. A large natural lagoon and the Logan River provide opportunities to relax, swim, fish or kayak. An abundance of Carp and Tilapia provide great fishing opportunities at the Lagoon or the Logan River. Children aged 12 years and under no charge (please do not include them in your numbers when making a booking) Pet friendly off-grid camping. All sites are unpowered. No motorboats or motor bikes. No parties - this is a quiet camping area please keep noise including music to a minimum level. Please respect our wildlife, our neighbours and your camping neighbours at all times. Enjoy our large camp sites with family and friends. Noise travels easily in the evening please reduce noise by 9pm. Larger groups welcome on some sites please message hosts. Firewood available, either book through Hipcamp or purchase direct at the farm. Tamrookum Store is 2 kilometres away for general goods, fuel and take away food.

Pelican Point (2WD Access)

Great spot

Libby was friendly and very welcoming when we arrived, the camping spots on her property are perfect, nice flat spots on grass, far enough from your fellow neighbours too, great spot to relax and swim.

Old Boat Ramp (2WD Access)

A top spot for the family!

Absolutely loved our time at the Old Boat Ramp. We had so much space for the kids and dog. Easy access to water. Libby was very welcoming and prompt with our request for firewood on 2nd night. For us, the bugs were particularly bad the first night, and flies were persistent during our stay, but we managed with a zapper and bug spray. We’ll definitely be back - hopefully for an extra night or two next time. Thank you Libby.

River Beach Camp (4WD Access)

Neat spot, great for a few campers.

Private spot, easy to access, nice neat site with a choice of fire pits. Site big enough for a few caravans or campers. A bit of a walk down the hill to the river. Unfortunately no shade trees to give a cooler spot during the summer heat.
