This property is located in the beautiful Somerset region of Queensland. The camping area is mowed and maintained for easy access for setting up the tent, parking an RV or just throwing a swag on the ground , with views to Somerset Dam. A purpose built fire pit next to a rustic entertaining area with uninterrupted views to the Lake. At night the bar lights up to add to the ambiance of the bar and fire pit area . Stay one night or a couple and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. Red claw pots available to use in Somerset Dam via access from the property. Plenty of animals, domestic and wild. The property is a working cattle station with livestock grazing in the adjoining paddocks. Wildlife ie: deer, koala's, kangaroos , possums and a multitude of bird life. For those travelling in large groups, please contact us to discuss your requirements. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and ensure that your camping experience is unforgettable.

Firepit Area, situated near the rustic entertaining area with a firepit overlooking the Lake (only the designated firepit is to be used in this area) guests will have the area to themselves but please note there may be another group visible at the grasses area. Guest will have access to communal toilet and shower. There are no hook ups at this site, guests will need to take rubbish with them and leave no trace. Speed limit on the incoming road is 10klms, please adhere to the speed limit. Any person wishing to have groups bigger than 6 persons, please contact owner to discuss options.

Open Grassy Space campsite is a semi flat open area , cleared and mowed perfect for tents or RV's . Guest will enjoy an un-interrupted spectacular view to Somerset Lake. There may be another group visible 500 feet away near the Firepit campsite. There is a designated fire pit that is be used at this site. There is a walking trail through the cattle paddock so you can walk to the lake. Guest will have access to communal toilet and shower. There are no hook ups at this site , guests will need to take rubbish with them and leave no trace. Speed limit on the incoming road is 10klms, please adhere to the speed limit. Any person wishing to have groups bigger than 6 persons, please contact owner to discuss options.
