4WD Recommended - dirt/gravel road and two creek crossings (through the creek bed) to get here. We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

Family Bush Cabin
Bush cabin oasis
Kids loved feeding the animals, the bush cabin itself was private, neat and tidy. We saw nobody the entire trip! Anita was a lovely host and let us feed her animals. We also hired the hot tub which was amazing under the night sky. Perfect family getaway

What a fantastic property to explore... the campsites are well thought out taking in the natural beauty.. Anita was very helpful and allowed us to explore the ridgeline 4x4 tracks... fantastic stay we will definitely be back... just a hint though... get the hot tub ! It's delivered to your camp-site! Totally worth the extra $

Hideaway Flats
The perfect escape.
This place was amazing. I am already planning another trip. The campsite couldn't of been any better. Not a trace of rubbish to be seen. This is a very special place to be welcomed to and immerse yourself in nature. Hope Valley is my idea of paradise.

Hideaway Flats
Great, secluded camp site with large fire - great for our three young kids and two dogs. Not so 2WD friendly, difficult access with 2WD towing camper trailer.
