Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Our property is situated on the northern face of Mount Goonaneman and is most ideally suited for RVs and self-contained campers. Two large campsites are available, set at the entrance to the property allowing easy access for large vehicles. Both sites back onto a seasonal dam offering a beautiful arena for picnics and star-gazing. Bring a blanket and enjoy the absolute tranquillity of the mountain, surrounded by our resident wallabies and other native wildlife. Lots of bird-watching opportunities, including forest kingfishers, channel-billed cuckoos, pale-headed rosellas, and whistling kites. The entire area has lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to manoeuvre and park. Well behaved pets are welcome: dogs on leads to protect the wildlife, please. Campfires permitted when no fire bans are in place. Most suitable for passing travellers looking for a quiet night to stay. We are off grid, so fully self-contained guests only as no facilities are provided: BYO everything, including drinking water, chemical toilet and shower facilities. Guests must take all waste with them on departure. Our property is located approximately 5 minutes from the Isis Highway. Childers is under 30 minutes away, Biggenden approximately 25 minutes. We live onsite in another area of the property, but available for questions or help.Bush Camp 1 is a grassed area in amongst gum trees. It backs onto our seasonal dam, with grassy outlook. Bush Camp 1 is a grassed area in amongst gum trees. It backs onto our seasonal dam, with grassy outlook. There is a designated area for RV, van or tent but lots of space within that area for personal preference. The area is spacious but there may be others camping nearby. Guests need to be fully self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.
