Hold it Flats is a 120 acre property that borders the beautiful O'Connell River that has water all year round. Take a walk around the property to check out some of the creatures that have been built out of scrap metal and bush bars that have been built all around the property. There is nice shady trees, green grass and flat camping sites right beside the river with hot showers and flushing toilets. There is plenty of room and some great tracks for the kids and the big kids to ride their push bikes on. The swimming hole is about 2 meters deep and has big shady trees on the edge. There is also enough room for kids to bring their kayaks and have a paddle along the river. We have some hiking tracks up around the hills of our property that have amazing views of the area. All campsites can be provided with their own fire pit. You just pick your spot and we will bring a portable fire pit to you. Fire wood can be purchased at the property. All rubbish must be taken when you, there are no rubbish bins provided.

Creek is perfect depth
Absolutely beautiful spot! We are already planning our next trip back. Love that it has hot showers and flushable toilets.

Hold It Flats Track Side Camping
Amazing camping spot.
We loved camping at 'Hold it flats', will defiantly be back. Plenty of room for kids to ride bikes, play on tyre swings and play under sprinklers. Great hiking track with beautiful views of area, with plenty of spots to spot and look at on the way. Multiple toilet and hot shower blocks, all kept very clean.

Hold It Flats Grassed Flat Camping
Such a shame
I booked this camp spot for 3 nights to enjoy the running creek, have a fish and swim with my children. What I was met with was a stagnant not flowing creek with an abundance of algae. So after paying roughly the same amount as I would have at a powered caravan park stay. We decided to leave after just one night, upon arriving home I decided to message Kate to see if we could work out a resolution. I asked for my other remaining 2 nights as a credit once the creek was flowing again as this was the whole reason of visiting this property. I was told no! to a refund and I stated once again I didn't want a refund just credit to come back and enjoy this property at its full potential. Once again I was told no! we don't give credit so I stated I would pass this experience on from Kate at hold it flats via feedback and word of mouth to which I've done.

Hold It Flats Grassed Flat Camping
Just experienced our fourth visit to Hold it Flats. The entire property is extremely well maintained including the amenities. It’s a great place to hang out, and for us, not far from home so we will continue to visit on a regular basis
