Hold it Flats is a 120 acre property that borders the beautiful O'Connell River that has water all year round. Take a walk around the property to check out some of the creatures that have been built out of scrap metal and bush bars that have been built all around the property. There is nice shady trees, green grass and flat camping sites right beside the river with hot showers and flushing toilets. There is plenty of room and some great tracks for the kids and the big kids to ride their push bikes on. The swimming hole is about 2 meters deep and has big shady trees on the edge. There is also enough room for kids to bring their kayaks and have a paddle along the river. We have some hiking tracks up around the hills of our property that have amazing views of the area. All campsites can be provided with their own fire pit. You just pick your spot and we will bring a portable fire pit to you. Fire wood can be purchased at the property. All rubbish must be taken when you, there are no rubbish bins provided.

Great host excellent beautiful place. We were riverfront 3 nights. Facilities of toilets/showers/fire pits all great. Plenty of space between other campers and a nice flow of water to swim or kickback and enjoy nature. Thank you Kate you have created a great spot with many options .

Great property and very well looked after. Great entertainment shed and great showers/toilets. Overall great amenities and camping experience

Hold It Flats Grassed Flat Camping
Lovely little place to stay, did not interact with the owner but they made sure to wave hello when passing by. Though an open area I still felt like there was privacy as everyone was in their own space. One of my favourite days of my road trip down the east coast was staying here!!! Highly recommend, thank you for the great stay.

100% recommend
We had a very relaxing 3 nights at Hold it Flats, Katie-Ann was great, very friendly and helpful, The park was kept green, and nicely mowed even though it hasn’t rained in a while. Facilities block was very clean, most campers had dogs and all well behaved and on leads with no barking. We will definitely return, thank you.
