Friendly greeting, maintained contact during stay. Reasonably level ground. Showers and toilets were of good quality. A little drafty in showers. Ability to have camp fires was great and worked well for the camp oven cooking we did.

Beautiful setting, lovely river and mountain to climb and very clean well maintained property. It’s a great family spot and really nice for couples when it’s a bit quieter mid week.

The scenery is breathtaking—rolling hills, wide open skies, and the perfect mix of sun and shade. Whether you're into hiking, stargazing, or just relaxing around the campfire, this place has it all.
The campsites are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, giving everyone a sense of privacy while still being part of a community. We especially appreciated the clean facilities and the attention to detail—it's clear the owners take real pride in the place.

Grounds are so well maintained. Sites are well set up. Plenty of space between sites. So great that we could bring our dog with us to see all the family.
The shower and toilet facilities are great. Hot showers, yeah!
I loved how natural it all was. Real camping! And the wildlife was so beautiful. Kate was so friendly and helpful. Thanks Kate for a great stay.

Lovely bush area with mountain views. We camped near the creek and could hear the water. Hot showers and clean toilets. Firepits available to use and options to buy wood. Very good setup and host.

This is a great spot to go camping, it is well maintained, with clean showers and toilets. The individual Fire Pits and firewood available on site is great. It is a peaceful serene place. We had a great time, didn't want to go home and would recommend it and will visit again.

Had a great weekend at Hold It Flats! The scenery was stunning, especially under the stars at night. It rained a little, but it didn’t spoil the experience. We hiked the hill overlooking Cathu State Forest and had amazing views! Katie, the host, was so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend this peaceful spot.

Was a great stay with terrific and very friendly owners! Grounds were kept in incredible condition. Would highly recommend to first time campers and people looking for an easy and comfortable getaway. All amenities kept in great condition, any issues the owners are super responsive and helpful. Kate was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Absolutely beautiful place! We had a riverfront site and could hear it running all night, so relaxing! It's quiet, well kept and has great facilities. I also thoroughly enjoyed my Chai which was delivered to our campsite. Thanks for having us!

My solar experiment was a test of mathematics as it was raining and overcast the whole time I was there, lesson learned have a gas backup for cooking, had to run car for around 20 minutes to keep fridge running in the morning and evening or i would of killed my battery, never got to use my firewood it was soaked just how it goes with the weather, the toilets and showers were good the road out was muddy so I had some cleaning to do when I got home, if you can see into the future and pick better weather for your booking it would be a great place to camp
