We have several peaceful campsites available on our off grid property near Crows Nest. Also a private glamping site with a 5m Bell Tent - with everything you need for a relaxing night away. We are 10km north of the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 700m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast and sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, and another site further down the hill alongside the main driveway. It is very quiet and peaceful, yet only a 10-minute drive to Crows Nest. Enjoy the spring fed dam in the warmer months. šŸŠā€ā™‚ļø There is plenty to explore in the area, including: šŸž Crows Nest Falls National Park (good for a swim) šŸƒ Bullocky's Rest and creekside walk in Crows Nest (dog friendly) ā˜•ļø Lovely cafes in Crows Nest (eg. Lily's Artisan and My Little Blueberry), as well as boutique stores (Nolan's Block is very popular, on the highway). Crows Nest Soft Drinks (made on site) šŸ› An amazing Arts and Crafts store, with local hand made gifts (open every day) šŸ“š A quirky second-hand book store šŸŒ³ Ravensbourne National Park (rainforest) šŸš Crows Nest Museum šŸŽ£ Cressbrook and Perseverance Dams šŸš‚ Muntapa Railway Tunnel towards Cooyar šŸ‘©ā€šŸŒ¾ Also markets in Crows Nest on the first Sunday of each month. There are 3 separate campsites on the hilltop, each privately situated. šŸ• This site is suitable for tents, camper trailers and off-road caravans (the track is quite steep and rough in places). *2 night minimum on weekends* šŸƒā€ā™€ļø 10 adults maximum (children under 12 stay free). *Listed price is for 1 adult* šŸ”„ There is a designated fire pit and firewood is available to purchase Picnic table at this site and barbecue plate. šŸš» There is a composting toilet located on the hill. This is a centrally located toilet, approx 150m away, accessible to each of the 3 campsites on the hill. There is also a tap with non-potable water. šŸš— Please note, the track to the campsite is long, rough and bumpy. 2WD accessible but 4WD recommended especially if it has been raining. šŸ• Dogs are welcome, but they must be restrained when away from your camp. šŸ“± Good phone reception. An elevated campsite with lovely views over the escarpment, and to the hills in the west. šŸ—ŗ Located 10km from the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. šŸ• Large flat grassy area ideal for tents or camper trailers. **Listed price is for 1 adult** There is another campsite located a little further past this one (shared track), but the hilly terrain makes them both situated out of sight. Our house and sheds are around 200m further down the hill. šŸƒ 8 adults maximum. Children under 16 stay free. (Happy to accommodate other requests where possible, please enquire) šŸ”„ There is a portable fire drum, as well as a picnic table. Firewood is available to purchase ($15/bundle, see Extras). šŸš» There is a composting toilet located on the hill. This is a centrally located toilet approx 150m away, accessible to campers booked at all 3 of the hilltop campsites. Non-potable water is available at the site. šŸš— Please note, driveway is long and rough. There is a grass track leading up the hill to the site. 4wd recommended especially if it has been raining. If you would like to experience glamping, we have a large bell tent set up within a secluded area in the bush overlooking a private spring-fed dam. The 5m bell tent is appointed with a queen bed with warm bedding, comfortable chairs and lighting. Outdoor bathroom with hot shower and modern composting toilet. The dam has water year round, and is a nice spot to cool down on a warm day. If not swimming, you can sit by the campfire and enjoy bird watching or watch the sunset over the trees. Completely private and peaceful. There is a barbecue with hot plate and sink with hot water. Cooking equipment provided. Just bring your food and esky with ice (ice can be purchased as an extra if required). A starter pack of firewood and kindling is provided (approx 1 day's worth) along with matches etc, and extra firewood can be purchased if needed. Please note, this site has no power. You may have to bring a portable charger for your phones (there is good phone reception). Plenty of areas to go bushwalking on the property, and there is a beautiful view over the escarpment at the front gate. 10km from the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. Pets are welcome, but not inside the tent please. Infants are welcome to stay with parents.

Our group really enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Farm. Eight members of our Brisbane ham radio club were able to see 360 views of the horizon, put up our antennas and make contact with the world! The amenities were as described, and we had visits by friendly horses and a very polite dog. We agreed that this will become an annual event and we will definitely be back next year!

Gorgeous view and very quiet. Good 4G coverage. Can be a bit windy but that's what you get for the view. Only 10min to Crow's Nest with IGA, bakery, and secondhand book store šŸ˜ŠšŸ“š

What a fantastic spot. Gorgeous views all around!! Easy to access and find. The location is extremely quiet with nothing but the birds to make noise around you. Itā€™s a quick drive into crows nest if you need anything but it feels like you are 1,000,000 miles away

Spectacular location for Eagles Nest and Whipbirds Nest. Very well presented, flat grassy sites and the loo was a bonus. If there was some way of predicting the wind that would be awesome, we had gale force winds that had us up all night tightening all the awing ropes and hoping we did not get any damage. Unfortunately we packed up in the wind and left after only one night on the mountain top. A small warning from the owners might be helpful as a normal van awning would not have survived. Nothing the owners could have done, just not fun for us...

Great private site with lovely windy views. Host is good with communication and directions are clearly given once you've booked. Other than an initial hello & verbal directions when I arrived, I was left completely alone. Its lovely & quiet. There are farm houses with lights in the distance that can be seen from the Bellbird site, so not completely secluded if that's what you're after. Please stop at the stall on your way in & see what they have available like fresh eggs, fire wood, produce & home made goodies like marmalade. I didn't get a chance to look around but I will next time! A very safe, pet friendly & welcoming place.

The farm was peaceful, the animals were a joy to see, and evenings by the firepit under the stars were unforgettable. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

We loved our stay at Crows Nest, was a very quiet place, good distance between other sites. Isnā€™t very far to the toilet which are well kept and maintained. Had plenty of space to take our Shiba Inu for a walk, had a great experience. Will definitely return and will do a few nights, but could only do one this time. Great views and well kept campsites.

The views are lovely, its clean and a fantastic spot. An absolutely beautiful spot. The problem is the rooster that crows at 11:30, Midnight, 01:30, 02:30, 3:30 etc. I have never been woken so many times in a night

Wonderful scenic spot. Great views and very peaceful; had a visit from a few horses in the paddock which we enjoyed. We had a terrific two days at Whipbirdā€™s Nest site. Nice to have a table and bench chairs and a fire pit. You can get well priced firewood on site as well. And if you stay here, do yourself a favour and order the farm fresh eggs- nothing better than fresh eggs for breakfast. Great hosts!

Itā€™s an outstanding location, brilliant views high on a hilltop at whipbird site however if itā€™s windy being the highest spot around it can spoil your stay. Friendly hosts, good value firewood and nice grassy sites. Pick your weather and you will love it!

Awesome weather was the extra bonus to an amazing camp spot with beautiful views. Sunset around the campfire spot on and coffee with a sunrise over the valley the best. Would definitely go back for another stay.

Absolutely beautiful views with stunning sunsets. Was super easy to get to and enough room for 1 car and trailer set up. Toilet was fantastic very clean and did not stink at all. Had some magical company from Leaciaā€™s dog Ollie, he was the goodest boy that loved playing fetch all day long and loved to chill with us every day. The only downfall of our trip was the wind, must check forecast before heading there.

Amazing glamp site. Very private and serene. Amenities are well kept and clean. I would recommend this site if you're keen to getaway but don't want the hassle of having to bring all your camp equipment. Thanks for hosting!

We had such a wonderful stay at this glamping site! It was the perfect little getaway for me, my partner, and our dog. The tent was beautifully set up with thoughtful touches that made it feel special. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved being able to sit on the bed and watch the storm come in over the dam. The property itself was peaceful and private, with plenty of space for our dog to explore safely, which was a huge plus. The hosts were easy to communicate with and provided some fresh produce. It felt like the best mix of camping and comfortā€”we got to enjoy the fresh air and starry nights but still had the luxuries of a proper bed, hot shower, and a few creature comforts. Would definitely recommend to couples (and dog owners!) looking for a relaxing escape. Also, when they say all you need to bring is an Esky with your food, that really is it! Everything is there. Amazing!

I wanted a pretty view and a quiet night away in nature, and boy did this place deliver. Just what I wanted and needed. Amazing hosts who had firewood and kindling waiting for me when I arrived. Got in fine in my 2WD. Highly recommend and I will be back

Stayed at Eagleā€™s Nest, stunning views. We had 2 wheel drive car (4x4 caravan). The road up to the property was an adventure! Well worth the views. Valley below beautiful with the morning fog. Very relaxing would recommend.
