We loved our 2 nights at high country haven. Such a beautiful property with a nicely mowed large camp area with an awesome view of the countryside. Even though Gordon was not on site he responded quickly to messages, gave great directions and left instructions about the site. We felt welcomed and priveleged to share his property.Sunsets were stunning and the fireplace was well setup with wood ready for us to use. A great place to setup and relax.

My husband, dog and I spent 2 nights in our new caravan. We were pleasantly surprised by the good directions for getting there. We arrived after dark and had no issues! Gordon was a wonderful host and suggested many great activities. We took a scenic 4WD through the property and stopped at one of the dams, which our dog loved to swim in. A relaxing weekend, topped off with our own fire pit with a phenomenal view! We will be back for sure!

Directions to find were good.
They were good hosts.
Camp area is nice grass area.
It is a shame that we were only staying for one night as I would love to explore more of the area.
Will have to go back again later to explore.
It was just what my son and myself needed for a relaxing night away.

A fantastic property to camp on. As described the sunset on top of the mountain was incredible.

The sites are grassy and well maintained with glorious views and access to potable water and power. Gordon is a fantastic host offering coffee and homemade honey for sale as well as a good supply of firewood.

Sunset site proved a lovely camping experience! The views were beautiful, had magnificent sunsets each night and Gordon was a wealth of local knowledge. Loved our time at Mt Perry and will definitely be back.

What an all round great experience. From our first contact with Gordon., this place is so perfect and the view is magical. The sunset was like a picture and the star gazing at night was amazing. We reclined our chairs and took in the atmosphere. Gordon has fire pits and wood available for purchase and it was just what we needed on our travels. We also purchased some of Gordon’s honey from his local bees. Highly recommend this place.

We absolutely loved this campsite. Plenty of room with privacy, magnificent views across rolling hills and great fire place with good burning wood and honey sold by Gordon & Nelli. Brilliant for those travelling with dogs. Off leash was a bonus. Only two sites so you won’t get crowded. Planned on an overnight stay but stayed for 3 nights. Bliss !
