Beautiful valley with scenic views close to tourist attractions, lakes, breweries, vineyards etc. There is also a camel farm less than 30 minutes away. Brisbane & Gold Coast are 1.5 hours away. Scenic Rim is mentioned as one of the must see destinations for 2022. Local town is Boonah with a great country atmosphere. Scenic Rim is God’s own country. Secluded and peaceful with loads of tourist attractions nearby. We are located close to Lake Moogerah and Lake Maroon. Park your caravan or vehicle in or near the huge shed or camp out in our secluded paddocks with seasonal stream. Toilet and shower facilities are available in shed. Friendly owners with pets allowed. Lovely flat camping area next to the dam. Well set up flushing loo and sink. We enjoyed soaking up the views and it’s a great location to explore the area. Can recommend Boonah for coffee and Aratula for lunch.

We absolutely loved our stay at John, Clare and Bella’s property… Beautiful area, well kept, ground is nice and flat. Having access to a clean toilet, shower and sink was such a luxury… even though cold - it’s perfect on a hot day :), we also accidentally forgot our stove - thankfully Boonah had a Mitre 10 and IGA just 15 minutes drive!!! Talk about convenience! Don’t hesitate, this place is a perfect balance of traditional camping, friendly animals/wildlife and comfort! We have already planned our next trip back. also, there is a lot of activities to do around Lake Moogerah, which John and Clare so kindly recommended :)

Lovely hosts and lovely views. We enjoyed our stay and found John and his wife to be very hospitable. We would definitely recommend staying here for the scenery, local pubs, short walks and historical buildings.

We had a great time. Private. Quiet. Relaxing. Hospitable hosts. Toilet facility was appreciated and cold shower available (didnt use). Dogs, horses, cows and kangaroos were friendly, although we couldn't find the koala that was in residence the previous week. John made sure there was a good campfire available. Close proximity to many things to see and do. Would recommend to anyone.
