Gootchie Creek Escape
A great campsite with lots of areas to choose. Room for large groups but there were only 2 of us so found a nice spot in the shade by the creek. Considering how many campers were there you could still find an area you felt private. Everyone was very quiet. Awoke surrounded by cows and calves which added to the charm. Facilities were very clean though a bit of a walk from where we camped.

What a truly beautiful place to camp. Really gorgeous property with so many spots to choose from. We had absolutely privacy and so much space. The hosts are really friendly and organised. We will definitely be back.

You can pick your own camp-site if you get in early first come first served, very clean toilets and showers, the amount of camp-sites pick from, saw plenty of turtles,cattle roam free the billabong looks so awesome totally recommended for a great getaway for a weekend or week yes we shall return again plus a big bonus to bring your pet dog as well.

As all other reviews suggest... amazing spot. Especially for massive groups. Large grassy, flat spots for tents and for kids to run around. Cows and turtles everywhere 🙃

Beautifully relaxing and equally picturesque. The site is huge and creates a real feeling of slow living with space and beauty included. The campsites are spread at the perfect distance from each other allowing just enough privacy and also lots of variety also. The cows and bulls were beautiful and the ducks plodding f around our site too was very sweet. Bear in mind the cows will come up to your site and try and steal the bin, or anything food-wise you have lying around but we enjoyed it and my daughter said this was her favourite campsite because of the visits from the cows and ducks! Showers and toilets are quite a walk from most of the campsites though, something again to bear in mind. Would definitely return - beautiful spot and so peaceful!

We loved our few days at Gootchie Creek Escape. Beautiful site beside a pretty billabong but there are so many sites to choose from spread over a large area, so nice and private. Loads of on site fire pits.
Lots of cows wandering about, a creek runs through the property and toilets and showers available if needed.

Clean and beautiful camp grounds with easy access to the site's. The showers and toilets are amazingly clean. And the cows coming around the camp site's just made it so much better. I would highly recommend it family and friends to camp there. We give it a 11/10

Great Spot, lots & lots of choose sites. We were there during the week and had very few others around, just heaps of cows. The shower toilet block was also quiet. Office / shop opened only from 2.30 - 3.00 pm each day while we where there July 28th. Will certainly go again, especially if they get rid of that insane Pe We (bird) that was forever obsessed and shit all over our car for 2 days. Still trying to remove the crap. Great Camp.

We loved staying at Nikki's campsite. It was such a beautiful place and the cows are so friendly. Easy drive to and from the toilet and amenities. There was ice, firewood and basic groceries available during office hours. Office hours were pretty slim but they were lovely to chat to anyway!

A great spot! There was plenty of room to choose from. With so many great spots it was tricky to choose! We have two young kids and they could play, run around, ride their bikes with heaps of space. You didn’t feel like you were camping on top of other people, which, during school holidays especially is a huge bonus!

Highly recommend staying here. Plenty of space and a few different spots to choose from, would be great if you had a crew too! We were greeted by some friendly cows in the morning. We will definitely be back here again.

We loved our camping weekend at Gootchie Creek. It was spacious, well kept and overall a great property to experience. The facilities were well maintained and it was handy being able to purchase ice and firewood on site. The cows were so friendly and the local Historic Theebine Hotel had incredible views. We will definitely be back!
