Perfect Dam Access
We camped here for a few nights for a fishing trip. Judy came past a couple of times and was very friendly and lovely. Access to the water was excellent too. The sites themselves were clean of debris and each one had a firepit and firewood was able to be collected if required. We absolutely will be back after finding this gem.

Gorgeous spot!
Lovely mowed grassy site. This is an especially beautiful and secluded spot and the owner is very attentive. She visited in person at least once each day to check in. Judy is absolutely charming and even offered to take a shopping list into town if I needed! All in the household that I met were wonderful people. They made sure to text before they visited, letting me know a rough time, and always drove up in a nice loud car so I could hear them coming. That meant I got to maintain a sense of privacy, which I really appreciated. They had firewood ready and waiting when I arrived, and dropped off more when they saw me running low. On my arrival Judy invited me to come see the exciting parts of farm life, which I did eagerly. I watched some rams get shorn, learned about different wool types, met the sow and her piglets, I even got to pet their unicorn goat! Great fun and great photos. The site is gently sloping mowed grass. It's a perfect distance from the main house. I couldn't see or hear the house from the site, but it was close enough to walk if any emergency arose. I LOVED the site shower. Seriously, the shower was awesome. Clean, private, roomy and piping hot. Each day I had wonderful picturesque views of grazing sheep in front of expanses of blue water and sky. Perfect and peaceful spot for sipping a glass of wine and reading a good book.

Private site w/ breathtaking views!
5 stars for Judy and her beautiful property! We spent 2 nights at the site at the top with range views and a glimpse of the mouth of Glenlyon dam through the trees. Judy was absolutely lovely and hospitable and it was such a pleasure to meet Dora the Kelpie! Beautiful private and well maintained spot with a breathtaking view of the stars on a clear night. We’ll be back next time we’re down this way! :)

One of the best camping spots I have ever stayed at. The host's were so hospitable and friendly, even left me a dozen farm fresh eggs on arrival, this was an absolute highlight of the stay, they were soooooo good. Right on the water at Glenlyon Dam, bush shower and toilet (with hot water), the Milky way so close you could touch it. Large open grassed area with small boat ramp for easy access to the water, I will definitely be coming back to this property, and will be bringing others with me for a true bush camping experience. Be sure to meet Dora the Kelpie, such a beautiful doggo! Thankyou for an amazing time.

Great Spot
As first-time caravaners trying out our "off-grid" caravan, we were delighted with our experience at Glenlyon Dam. We started by camping not far from the water instead of at the "View from the Top", and loved the spot so much that we just stayed right there! There was a lovely breeze coming across the water, and Judy also had a shower and toilet facility right there if we chose to use that instead of our own. Judy was very helpful and picked us up to show us the View from the Top so that we could make our camping choice. The stars at night, the birdlife and early morning mists on the water were just gorgeous! This one will be on our return list for sure! Thanks Judy!

Beautiful spot by a very full Pikes Creek/Glenlyon Dam. Judy was away, but CJ was a very pleasant host who made sure we were in a nice spot by the water. Would easily be the best camp of it's type we have stayed at.

Beautiful spot, and lovely hosts. The only issue I had was their generator for hours within metres of the camping spot, definitely took away from the peace and tranquillity of the setting.

Perfect camp spot!
Had an incredible time at the at judys farm! We couldn’t have had a better spot right on the waters edge overlooking the amazing scenic dam. With toilets, showers and a boat ramp we had everything we needed for the weekend and the farm animals came as a bonus! We did return to a very suspicious moo cow Delilah when we return from a fishing session snooping around our kitchen. We invited her back for a dinner but she never took up the offer.

A very enjoyable and rewarding stay. Judy is a very hospitable and helpful host - there to assist but not overpowering. Great location on Glenlyon Dam. Plenty of wildlife and it was great to have her farm animals around as well.

A Perfect Experience from the Top
Simply an amazing experience. We chose the site as there was only one site available, and we were chasing a campsite that offered privacy. It was perfect. During the day the view across the valley is amazing, and at night the peace and quiet is remarkable. For my family it was total relaxation and tons of fun. Judy is wonderful and her hospitality is unmatched. We arrived as guests, and left as friends. We are eager to return as the whole experience was perfect.

Serenity Plus!
Tranquil! Camping right up next to the shoreline of the lake was just perfect. Dam at 100% of capacity meant a 5 metre walk to put the kayak in for a paddle. Perfect rustic getaway!

Absolutely Brilliant
Absolutely beautiful would selfishly love for it to stay a hidden gem for us to return to whenever we wanted. Judy and her husband were lovely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend. Loved the cows and alpacas and our pup loved checking them out. The lake was beautiful and easily accessible from our campsite. Beautiful for swimming and canoeing as well as boating and fishing. An abundance of firewood available. Definitely will be returning. Thank you Judy and Richie for being so accommodating.

Best ever camping spot!
This was one of the best camps we've stayed at made better by the kindness and generosity of the host Judy aka Superwoman! While running her farm she made time to show us around her beautiful property. The Glenlyon Dam was full and was a great place to swim, kayak and cool off. The wildlife was in abundance while we were there and the sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. We saw all of the camp spots while there and they are all great spots but we camped right on the waters edge. A must see trip while in the area is Boonoo Boonoo national park, the Falls are spectacular. It was impossible not to fall in love with the serenity and beauty of this spot and enjoy Judy's hospitality and stories.
