You will not fault this hidden gem. It is just absolutely stunning. If you love nature then this is all you could ask for. It is Peaceful, warming, it has privacy and most definitely you feel at home. I camped with 3 kids and we loved every moment of it. Reconnecting with nature is the most uplifting thing you can do. Kim and Andre are just amazing host, they shared fresh herbs and eggs which made us feel very apart if them. Just beautiful people all round, we will definitely be returning.

Excellent stay! The site is perfectly private, a great blend of cosy comfort in the cabin and charming campfire under the gumtrees and stars. Beautifully maintained and well stocked with everything you need. Andre and Kim were the real stars of the stay! More than just friendly hosts, they are warm and welcoming and generous—even saving us from a few disasters! Will definitely be back, thanks so much for looking after us!

This is a beautiful campsite that you essentially have for yourself. Comes with all the amenities to make travelling easy. Had a comfy bed in a heated room, little fridge for the essentials, reasonably well equiped outdoor camp kitchen, plenty of firewood and a much needed hot water shower. Our daughter loved the sandpit, the toys that came with it and enjoyed walking around wild flower picking. The dog enjoyed being on a runner and walks down to the creek. Kim and Andre were amazing hosts, and were ready to support when needed. Highly recommend and look forward to going back

Love love love what Andre and Kim have set up at the back of their property. Our stay exceeded our expectations, the camp kitchen, the comfy bed, linen, the ghost gums, firepit, outdoor shower, Kim generously sharing her home grown produce, the gas heater to warm up the suite on those really cold nights. We’ve made lots of new family memories as a result and feel oh so relaxed.

We loved staying here, it was so peaceful, and easy to stay we over packed as we didn't know what we would need but they quite literally have everything you could need just need the clothes on your back and food in your mouths. We absolutely fabulous would love to go back.

Tranquil slice of paradise

We had a lovely time at Andre and Kims. Such an easy trip with the fully stocked camp kitchen, hot shower and cosy cabin. Lots of little thoughtful touches from the hosts including candles, towels, fresh herbs and a pumpkin which we roasted in the fire. To top it off, we were treated to an epic display of fireflies in the evening! And a beautiful waterful just a few minutes down the road. Highly recommend for a restful weekend trip, we will be back 😊

The directions were super clear and was greeted by Kim, and later Andre who were both lovely to connect with. The property is magnificent as the land is well cleared for play and walking and it has a beautiful cultural history. It was such a luxury to have a camp kitchen, a fridge, toilet, hot water shower and a cozy cabin. Plus some delicious vegetables from the owners nearby house. Thanks for having us!

Such a beautiful, family friendly camp site with everything you need to make it a stress free and enjoyable stay. This is a wonderfully set up site in amongst the gum trees on the side of a small creek. The surrounds are peaceful and the camp leaves you wanting for nothing. A stones throw from the historic town of Herberton and a short drive to the beautiful Halls Falls. Showering under the stars is a treat and the camp kitchen is a luxury for seasoned campers like us. The cabin is a perfect retreat and the hosts so accommodating Truely the best long weekend we’ve had in ages. Thank you so much!! We will be back for sure!

Beautiful site with everything you need for a fantastic camping experience. The area and cabin were great for my 1 year old with plenty of kids toys and activities on site. Andre and Kim were extremely accommodating and even offered to change our dates if we wanted due to weather but we decided to go anyways and did not regret it. We will be back for sure.

Private, peaceful, perfect. This little camp is one of a kind. It has everything you need to enjoy all of the perks of camping, without dealing with any of the downsides. The site is located on the back of Andre and Kim’s (who are super friendly) property. You can tell they’ve put a lot of time and effort into ensuring the comfort of their guests. There is a small grocer 5 mins away, as well as a number of beautiful waterfalls and hikes in the area. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Andre and Kim are lovely host, they were accomodating despite our late arrival time and made sure we could find our way to the cabin. They offered us eggs, lemons and ginger. We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin and will definitely come again!

Ginya Mija Wamban was absolutely amazing. It is a really peaceful spot with beautiful views/ Andre and Kim have set everything up beautifully and thoughtfully and it is a fantastic glamping experience. Fresh eggs, parsley and coriander were a lovely touch too. Great location 5 mins from Herberton. Would definitely recommend, its even nicer than in the photos! Will definitely be back!! :)

We had a great stay at Andre and Kim’s property. We love the idea of some recycled materials being used to built this place. Andre and Kim also welcomed us with some fresh eggs( we used for our omelette😊), passion fruit and some herbs. If you’re looking for peaceful place to relax and recharge, this is a good place to be. We only stayed for 2 nights but will definitely come back. Cheers, Richel, Garry & Lucky(our dog)

I don’t think you could be disappointed with Andre and Kim’s property in Jirrbal Country. It is beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable off-grid glamping experience away from the hustle and bustle. Full camp kitchen, super comfortable bed and small fridge in the shack, clean compost toilet, hot outdoor shower - you pretty much just need to rock up and wind down! Plenty of space for activities with kids and dogs are welcome too. Andre and Kim were really helpful and responsive, and I give the whole experience 5 stars ⭐️

Andre and Kim are amazing hosts and have an absolutely stunning lodge set up! Everything you could need with extra touches that made the stay memorable. This place is pet and child friendly, with plenty for all to do. Definitely a place to ground yourself and get plenty of rest. Highly recommend - place was clean and well presented. We will definitely be back to this slice of heaven!

This property was superb and very well equipped. Andre and Kim were so helpful getting our gear across to the cabin and definitely go the extra effort to add special touches that impress; fresh eggs, herbs, lettuce and flowers! A perfect place to stay in sunny dry weather to enjoy the open space and the fire pit for roasting marshmallows and enjoying beverages with a yarn. It is equally as perfect in cooler wet weather to enjoy the cosy cabin and tranquil surroundings. We travelled with a toddler so the hammocks, swing, see saw, toys and chalk were a win for us, our toddler was kept busy playing and we got to enjoy these precious moments with her while relaxing. Freedom, laughter and special memories were made at this beautiful site, we cannot thank you or recommend it highly enough!

Absolutely loved this place! Andre & Kim have done an amazing job with this very user friendly camp. Communication was great, met on arrival and Andre went through everything, he had set up a long rope as a running lead for our jack russell (chaser of anything that moves) which was very appreciated. We were very impressed with the set up from the camp kitchen to the shower/toilet and the beautiful cabin. Hot shower outdoors was beautiful, comfy bed and a fridge! They were kind enough to give us some fresh herbs, lettuce and eggs which went down a treat. Beautiful private outlook with lots of birds, a fire pit with wood supplied … what more could you ask for? Cant wait to come back .. thanks Andre & Kim!!!!

This is a beautiful space with gorgeous tall gums (possibly Rose Gums) and room to breathe. Lying in the hammocks reading and snoozing was a favourite for us. There is attention to your stay by Andre and Kim who are friendly and keen to make your stay comfortable while giving you room. We were gifted lovely farm eggs, herbs and tomatoes and some homemade soap (the lemon myrtle was amazing). We took our dogs and set up a line (so they could be on lead the whole time) across the poles on the deck where they slept, close to us. Think about how you will do this before you come if you bring dogs, as you don't want to scare off the gorgeous pademelons that come around at night. This is an off grid property so if this fits with your values- go for it!! You won't be sorry to recharge your batteries for a few nights here. Thanks Andre, Kim, Kiera and Bessie (their dogs)

Perfect spot for some RnR! Booked Andre & Kim’s place for partners birthday weekend with small child & all of us had an amazing time we didn’t want to leave! Beautifully set up cabin, kitchen, toilet and outdoor shower, the kitchen was also very well equipped. We can’t thank them enough for sharing their space, they were so welcoming. They had set up activities as well for children and the adults to enjoy. They’ve done really well with their space and we can’t wait to book again! Couldn’t pick a better spot to get away, perfect for small and large groups

The most peaceful and easy stay. Andre and Kim are wonderful hosts - lovely people, easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The land is absolutely magical and the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. The cabin is beautiful and we appreciated the little extras such as the fresh flowers and home made soap. Bed is comfortable. Fire pit and so much firewood provided. Loved having an outdoor shower with hot water. Compost toilets clean and well maintained. Camp kitchen had everything we needed :)

The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and they went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our time there.
