Nestled in the northern foothills of the Little Liverpool range and Minden village, Foggy Lookout Wellness Eco Retreat (FLoWER) is 53 acres of hillside bushland, rolling pastures and private hilltop campsites, with stunning views, sometimes foggy mornings and spectacular sunsets. Our property is an easy drive to many local towns in the Lockyer and Somerset regions and only an hour to Toowoomba or Brisbane city. Towns to visit north of us - Lowood, Tarampa and Fernvale and Esk. Towns west - Plainland, Laidley, Gatton and Toowoomba. Country towns south - Marburg and Rosewood, plus easy access to the Scenic Rim. Drive East and you come to Ipswich and Brisbane. We can help you tailor your own special Foggy Lookout gathering. Our sites are 4WD access only at the moment and have a designated fire pit for camp fires, just check there are no fire bans in place prior to arrival. ***ORDER YOUR FIREWOOD (In Extras) This must be purchased at time of booking to avoid disappointment or BYO firewood. ***BOOK Amenities TOILET/SHOWER units are only available for hire at our sites. ***Wellness Activities must be booked as early as possible to avoid disappointment, preferably at the time of making booking. Pets on leash will be considered at some campsites, please ask us if you want to bring one.

This campsite is in the bush, there is a slight clearing for tent or swags but your vehicles will be parked in the open camp ground. It is private and cosy, it is situated toward eastern tip of cleared area, borders wild bush lands and steep escarpment. Fabulous views all around, but campsite itself is hidden away, and is more natural.

Foggy Lookout Wellness Retreat - 'Westview' is high up on the hill, adjacent to The Lookout and 4WD track. This site has magnificent views and west of Postman's Rest campsite and The Ridge. Welcoming area to large 4WD groups wanting the views and space - booking the three 4WD camps The Ridge, Westview and Postman's Rest can accomodate 30+ people. BYO amenities or Hire our Portable Toilet and Camp Shower (See Extras) TRANSPORT is available to and from the site if you do not have 4WD. If there is extremely wet weather conditions at FLWR,  safe access to campsites can be difficult or impossible to drive on. If groups without 4WD vehicles we can help with transport to access your camp site on arrival and departure. All of the sites have designated fire pit for camp fires, just check there are no fire bans in place prior to arrival.  We have a growing collection of resident farm animals - Goats, 25 (Australian minis), Sheep, 4 (Dorper X Merino, Merino, ), Chickens, 5 and a stunning Horse (Arabian Mare) named Nadya.  Foggy Lookout Wellness Retreat is proudly designated LAND FOR WILDLIFE. We have resident native animals here such, kangaroo's, wallabies, possums, echidna, bandicoots, snakes, water & forest dragons many varieties of birds and insects too. So please respect the inhabitants of the land here. FIREWOOD must be purchased at time of booking to avoid disappointment or BYO firewood. Camp amenities, toilets and shower are only available for hire at some sites. Wellness Activities must be booked as early as possible to avoid disappointment, preferably at the time of making booking. Postman's Rest is the most secluded campsite we have, around the bend from Westview #1 and The Ridge #2. All of these sites are 4WD access only. Postman's Rest is backing onto unfenced native bush land. Access can be through property or through Postman's Track which leads on towards Marburg township. Porta Toilet and shower is available. TRANSPORT to and from site is available of you do not have a 4WD. This spot has great views to the north and west and is closest to Postman's Track our 4x4 roadway that winds along the top of the range and takes you to the township of Marburg. This campsite is level and has a designated camp fire pit. There are some shade trees too.

We had a lovely time here. The bath was relaxing for the grown ups and fun for the kids :) Also my partner and I both really enjoyed the massages we had with Jani. A massage while camping really takes the whole experience to a new level! Thanks for having us.

Well maintained grassed area. Kids loved playing on it. The toilet and shower delivered to the site were a great addition. Also, it is very convenient for visitors from Brisbane.

Foggy place was private and flat ground which was good for setting up the tent. One thing i was quite uncomfortable was the other camper kept taking a walk with her dog towards us 4 times during stay.. when eating , relaxing... Other than that, the place had a great view and wanna come back again.

Great spot with really good views. Untie the host was a LEGEND, super nice bloke and accommodated all our needs. Site we were on more suitable for a van that could be levelled.

Foggy Lookout is such a peaceful camp site. It’s extremely scenic and the grounds are very well maintained. Foggy Lockout is what “what the doctor ordered” looks like. I highly recommend this camp site if you’re looking for relaxation. The remedial massage was awesome. The hosts Jani and Berni are super friendly and helpful.

Great clean open well maintained location, nice views and peaceful, was lucky enough to have the whole top area too ourselves 20 mins drive to local swimming river @twin bridges was nice and refreshing as it was hot! Kids loved it and didn’t want to go home on Sunday Owners are wonderful, kids fed the farm animals and Bernie gave the kids a memorable experience with a lil tractor ride while he was out and about doing some mowing

Foggy Lookout #4 - 4x4 Northview
Well it was a bit of an adventure to get to the top with our caravan but all good fun. The site are fully grassed, neatly cut, plenty of space, firepit and the views are sensational. We had a very peaceful, relaxing break and will be back. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful.

Beautiful spot high up on the mountain with great views and breezes. Hosts Bernie and Jani go over and above with service. You can hire a shower or toilet too which is fantastic. We booked in for massages with Jani too and slept like babies that night after we got golf-buggied up the hill to our campsite so we could stay relaxed. Gorgeous animals to visit too. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough and we haven’t even finished our trip yet.

Great spot in a nice open area with super friendly hosts. There are a few trees spotted around for shade and the view of the fog filled valley in the morning was special.

Great spot for a camping get away. Close to Brisbane but far enough to leave the city behind. Camp area is well cared for with good space between the handful of sites and great views. Hosts are very friendly and helpful, dropping by to check how things were going. Recommended.

Foggy Lookout #3 4WD Postman's Rest
I recently stayed at this campsite and had a fantastic experience. The grounds were clean and well-kept, and despite there being other campers around, it remained quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. It was such a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a getaway. One of the highlights was being able to have a fire at our site, which added to the overall experience. Everything felt organized and well-maintained. I would definitely go back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable camping spot!

Campsite is very well maintained, the hosts Jani and Barnie are so lovely!! The animal feeding is fun, my son loved feeding their little baby goat and horse and ponies. Plus It’s only one hour drive from Brisbane, we will be back ☺️

Foggy Lookout #1 - 4WD 'Westview'
Lucas and I had our wedding reception at Jani & Bernie’s HipCamp, and it was AMAZING! We contacted them in late June/July, and from the very first moment we met them, they were incredibly friendly and helpful, fully committed to making our big day a dream come true. We decided to book the entire property for our wedding, including a marquee, and even arranged for a drumming class at sunrise for all our guests. The next day, we planned a yoga session at sunrise, followed by kayaking activities at Lowood River. Everything was perfect! The way they set up the marquee and the fairy lights was beautiful—everyone could gather under it to shield themselves from the sun and then dance the night away after dinner. The access is very easy from Postman's track by 2WD. Location is gorgeous and sunset is splendid, very chill and quiet location ! We can't thank them enough for the beautiful moments we experienced there! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!! XOXO

Foggy Lookout #1 - 4WD 'Westview'
Absolute beauty of a spot! The views at anytime of day are just dreamy. Highlights being early morning fog roll in, which felt like we were up above the clouds and the nighttime sparkle of the traffic heading down the Minden range was just magical to watch. Land was beautifully taken care of, just a really beautiful spot! Bernie & Jani had set up our bathroom amenities prior to arrival and guided us to our spot once we arrived. We loved our stay & would love to return again! Thank you for sharing your special spot Bernie and Jani :)

Had a wonderful time at Foggy Lookout #4. It has great views and is very relaxing. Bernie was great showing the kids around the farm and feeding the animals. Absolutely wonderful time!

Beautifully kept property. Plenty of space with magic views. Bernie and Jani were very helpful and even pointed us to a local swimming hole. We look forward to coming back again soon.

Has some great views of the range and is really quiet. Was great for the kids with the large open field for them to play in. Little slant on hill but didn’t try to hard to find a flat spot for cooking.
