Dooboon Cottage is the perfect countryside retreat amidst the beautiful, historical Boyne Valley Hills offering an oasis of tranquility and peacefulness. This cozy little Cottage affords all the comforts and is purposely furnished in a way to make one immediately feel at home, with a well-stocked fridge and pantry not to mention a few things you may have forgotten to bring. And there are plenty of books and games to keep yourself entertained if you just want to unplug from the outside world. We take pride on keeping the grounds well maintained and provide a carport to park under. During your stay, you are welcome to pick some fresh greens from the vegetable garden. An extensive network of trails makes this cozy hideaway suitable for hiking and mountain biking. The trails are self-guided; therefore, it is important you stick to the tracks. Maps are provided for your guidance and convenience. Enjoy the freedom to explore at your own pace ending your day by the firepit with your favourite beverage feeling quite at home. Should you wish to stay 2 nights or more, we will happily discount you $10 per night. The Boyne Valley Rail Trail, Kroombit Tops, the Beautiful Betsy crash site and the Grand Hotel in Many Peaks, which has lovely meals are not too far away to visit. There are camp sites available for friends and family to bring their SELF-SUFFICIENT caravans at an extra cost. These visitors must utilize their own amenities, however, are welcome to join you at the BBQ area and Fire-pit. There is no Potable Water or Dump Point available. Children must be accompanied by their Caregivers at all times.

    Dooboon Cottage Glamping Retreat
    The cutest cottage that had everything we needed. Daryl and Evelyn were fantastic hosts with Daryl showing us around some of the property. We were there to ride our gravel bikes (cycling) and the scenery was absolutely amazing. The dogs were lovely and we had a first hand experience in unloading a few trucks a cattle.

    Dooboon Cottage Glamping Retreat
    We loved staying there for two nights. We had a very friendly welcome and really enjoyed the many aspects of this lovely cottage. The outdoor fire was fantastic. We also enjoyed two walks of 4K each with the four dogs, which was great. Highly recommend this place

    Dooboon cottage is such a beautiful peaceful getaway. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back for sure. It was an awesome way to unwind. We loved spending time by the bonfire and cosying up in the gorgeous cottage. Thank you for having us 🥰

    Evelyn was wonderful and the cottage was so cute. We came late a night then had taken the time to light the fire pit for us and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended

    Easy to find. Genuine and honest place with great local history. Host was extremely helpful and bent over backwards to make our stay comfortable and her hospitality made us feel welcome and right at home. What a gorgeous cottage. Recommend 100% <3
