Sit around ,enjoy the space and see what Sladepoint has to offer . Hiking through wetland walkabout ,swimming at local beaches and the Sea breeze tavern is always open for cold beer on tap . Doctor , chemist , night owl store and petrol station are all just down the road

Great little camp
Loved it. Great little spot to set up camp and overnight. Beautiful mango, coconut and bushland surrounds. Peter was friendly and this made for an enjoyable stay. Thanks!

Great block ( in suburbia) with plenty of room and privacy. Would stay there again when next travelling through Mackay. Recommend Debbie’s Seafood - 16 David Muir Slade Point 😆 Vic and Virginia

Camping in town
Nice spot close to everything and with enough room to think your not in town. Few mozzies around but with the rain I think they were everywhere.

Felt a bit odd as we had no communication from the owner, and there was no identifying features at the property such as a street number or hip camp logo, or welcome. The owner wasn’t home when we arrived, however a neighbour came and gave us the run down and told us the owner was away. However other people were at the residence.
