The location is beautiful surrounded by the rain-forest; a perfect place for being mindful and disconnecting from the modern world. Solitude is best enjoyed with a good book and the symphony of sounds.

We loved the peaceful setting, only one campsite so no worries about other campers. The creek and beautiful bird life was so relaxing, made you feel like you were way out in a rainforest. The bush/waterfall walks are great if you feel like a bit of exercise. Isabelle and John make you feel very welcome and were willing to chat about the fauna and flora on their property. Highly recommend as a de-stress spot.

Wow…!! What a wonderful, secluded, bush camp. Private, surrounded by beautiful bushland with a trickling creek next to it. Flat site, small rock fire pit and plenty of trees around to add a hammock. Isabelle was very welcoming and guided us directly to our site and explained where to find the bush track to the waterfall on the property.

Such a cool place right in a rainforest and beside a tricking creek.
The weather was against us for our stay but we still had fun and saw lots a birdlife.
Recommend if you are wanting to get off-grid not too far from Brisbane and like your privacy.

This is the place If you want to get away and unwind. Being a private site where you can truly disconnect and soak in the ambience. From walks (definitely do the waterfall walk) and camp cooking by a campfire. Isabelle and John have done a fantastic job with turning the property back to natural bushland. Highly recommended!

If you want to get away for the weekend, this is the place. It's a perfect private site where you can truly disconnect and soak in the ambience.
From walks and views to cozy campfire conversations, this place has it all (even a few cheeky kookaburras are likely to come visit your site).
The hosts are super friendly and accommodating! I could not recommend this site enough! It is very clear that the hosts have a deep respect for the land and this shows through the vast amounts of untouched bush.
The waterfall walk is a must! Will definitely be back again.

What a truly magic spot! Right beside the creek in amongst the tall timber, this camp site is something very special. The walk to the waterfall was lovely, and there is heaps of wildlife to see. Isabelle and John were excellent hosts, very friendly and informative about the property. Will definitely be going back!
4WD is a must, particularly if it has been raining, don’t forget the bushman’s and have a wonderful time! Highly recommended.

Such an amazing place. Such a beautiful, peaceful place with some amazing stories, which John was kind enough to share with me on arrival. Communication was great throughout also. Exactly the getaway I was chasing - Such a beautiful property to walk around and explore.

Such a beautiful and remote spot. Loved the rain forest feel and being so isolated while still close to Brisbane. The walk to the waterfall was lovely. Isabelle was excellent with correspondence and very accommodating when we thought the rain would be an issue (lucky it wasn’t!). Will definitely be back as soon as time allows. 4wd essential!

Great little spot under an hour from Brisbane. It was very private and the the scenery was lovely.
The only downside of being this close to brisbane is that the block has close-ish neighbour's and if the decide to mow their lawn (which takes all day) they are close enough to hear.
That was the only negative part of my stay and I'd still recommend the spot.
Few notes:
-Would definitely recommend bug spray and or better yet netting if you plan on having lights on at night (it's a rainforest, bugs are everywhere).
-4wd very much required.

My partner and I camped here for one night to get away. It was so private being the only ones camping on the property which was a highlight as well as the shady tree coverage.

A beautiful spot in nature with sounds of water running in the creek and bird calls.
The walk to the waterfall is well worth it.
Nice place to get cosy by the fire at night and look up at the stars through the opening in the trees. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again. 4wd I'd required.

Beautiful lush campsite with plenty of privacy. Communication from Isabelle was top notch - she showed genuine care and concern for our welfare in the wet, and gave clear instructions. Easy to navigate there and through the property. We heard so many incredible bird songs and saw some really neat big insects. While the rain may have made our camp a lil more difficult, the bracken ferns were singing with joy for it. I look forward to seeing the place again.

We absolutely loved our time at Kingfisher Corner! Isabelle made our stay as easy as possible by giving us plenty of information and even provided us with some free Kindling. The woods are magical and have very easy to follow pathways. There was total privacy the whole time and enough space for 5 people. We would love to visit again.

Incredible stay. One camp site meaning there was no one else around! Complete serenity. The waterfall was close by and the land itself was very well maintained/loved. Can't wait for our next stay!

Great little secluded spot not too far from Brisbane but it feels like you are so far away from everything. Isabelle even called to check I was ok when some neighbours were making noises and she thought we might need help.
