Nestled next to the Lamington National Park rainforest, enjoy a peaceful escape with indoor outdoor fireplaces, a fully-equipped kitchenette with BBQ, and an outdoor deck overlooking the creek. Perfect for families and groups, with plenty of privacy and space for refreshing creekside activities and nature trails. Book your stay today and reconnect with nature at our eco-friendly retreat! The space There are 5 bedrooms in the cottage that sleeps up to 13 guests comfortably; 1x King Bedroom with outdoor bath 1x Queen Bedroom with built-in robes 1x Queen Bedroom with single bed, built-in robes 1x Double Bedroom 1x Small Bedroom with double pull-out sofa bed (ideal for kids/teens). There is another double pull-out sofa bed in the living room. There are 2 shared bathrooms; 1x Bathroom with shower, toilet, vanity & heated towel rail 1x Bathroom with shower, vanity, heated towel rail, washing machine 1x Seperate Toilet. Bed linen and towels are provided. The living room is open plan and combines a lounge area, sofa bed, flat screen TV, ceiling fan, fireplace and an extra large 12 seater dining table for everyone to eat together. The kitchen is fully equiped with dishwasher, cups, glasses, mugs, plates, crockery, pots, pans, utensils... and of course all the mod cons including coffee machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, and appliances - kettle, toaster, oven/air-fryer, electric frypan, slow cooker, and soda stream. There is also an outdoor gas BBQ on the front deck for a good old country cook up with multiple lounge/dining chairs for extra space and relaxation. Oh and there's a fire pit outside as well to enjoy. We do provide a limited amount of wood for your stay however suggest to BYO if you have a burning desire! Positioned under the cooling shade of the rainforest canopy, the house stays naturally cool in summer and offers direct access to a deep water swimming hole in the creek. Just meters from the front deck, you can hear the refreshing flow of the water, inviting you for a swim or simply sit by to unwind by its calming sounds.
