Coorie Vale - "The Ridge" Site
We had the best time camping at Coorie Vale. Beautiful location and the cows and horses are friendly. Tony was a wonderful host, very responsive and thoughtful.

2 nights up on The Ridge, was exactly what the Dr ordered! Tony was a fantastic host, friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. He escorted us up to our ‘penthouse suit’ which greeted us with the most gorgeous views. There was a large table and chairs as well a little ensuite set up between some trees. This was a nice surprise, nothing better than a bush shower! . The ground was very uneven and a bit rocky but that just added to the ruggered, grounding experience of it all. Being up on the ridge we had some very chilly winds, But lucky for us , Tony had a good supply of firewood for our stay ready to go.
The creek area is very beautiful, the sound of it running, echos through the property which creates the perfect background noise for your stay.
It’s just one magical place.
We will be returning thank you Tony and Ralph!!

We had the best winter weekend at Coorie Vale! It was chilly, but Tony had us covered with heaps of firewood delivered daily —thanks Tony! The 4x4-only track down to the campsite gave us gorgeous views, and once we arrived, it felt like our own little nature hideaway. The kids had a blast splashing in the creek, adventuring to the waterfalls, and roaming wild. Toilets were clean, stocked, and just a short wander up the hill. A beautiful spot - we’re already planning our next trip back!

Tony was lovely and so was the stay!
Creek sites were lovely and calm with the creek water rushing nearby.
Lots of firewood provided which kept us nice and toasty.

Coorie Vale - "The Ridge" Site
I highly recommend Coorie Vale. Tony was very welcoming and accommodating from the get go which set up our holiday very nicely. The creek was so pretty and would LOVE to see it in summer. The ridge was secluded and very peaceful with cow friends right at the gate. The cows were all friendly, coming up to us and posing for pictures. The horses were also very friendly running up to greet us. The toilet block was also the nicest toilet i’ve seen camping, expected it to smell but it didn’t at all, it’s also a very cute building on a hill. Will also add my dog had the time of her life exploring the creek and smelling all the country smells! 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back.

What a great campsite, I loved the views here. I unfortunately picked a day where there were massive gusts of wind, that just meant I couldn’t set up what I wanted but that was ok. Would definitely go back.

We had a magical time at Mount Mee. Tony was a wonderful host who greeted us when we arrived, communicated with us in the lead up and provided lovely little extras that made our stay even better. This spot is perfect for young families and people with dogs. We explored the creek, watched the cows and magnificent view, sat by a warm fire and got to enjoy the very clean toilets. I would highly recommend staying here.

Coorie Vale - "The Ridge" Site
Tony was the epitome of accommodating and helpful. We had a fantastic time staying on "the ridge" in our campervan (4wd), we spent hours exploring the creek, waterfalls and patting the cows and horses. The sunrises and sunsets were dreamy and we will definitely be back.

Great tranquil riverside camping. Perfect spot to unwind and absorb what nature has to offer. Nearby toilets are great.
Tony went out of his way to show us the camping grounds and was very hospitable… thanks Tony.

Absolutely beautiful spot with the best views and serenity and Tony is a complete gem! We had two families and had the worst weather for our 3 nights - torrential rain followed by 40km an hour winds. He bought us down dry fire wood when it stopped raining and allowed us to leave one car at the gate when the farm roads where a bit slippery and ferried our gear down and back from the camp site on his Polaris - absolute gentleman. Nothing was too much trouble. The camp site itself is well isolated from other sites. We had 5 dogs with our group and it was awesome to be able to have them off the leash with no issues. Would definitely book again.

Such a beautiful spot in the valley. The mist over the hills was lovely. We played in the creek and went swimming and chilled by the fire it was really peaceful. Tony was super accommodating and helpful. 4wd is essential for the safety of everyone.

Tony is an extremely accommodating host and ensured our whole stay was seamless. We arrived to some wet weather, so he very kindly invited us in for a coffee and even drove us around the property on his Polaris to check out the tracks, as they were a bit slippery after rain. 10/10 experience being driven around on the Polaris and something we’ll never forget!
The ridge site has the most amazing views of the valleys. Tony also had free firewood setup for us upon arrival. The ground at this site isn’t fully flat but the views absolutely make up for it. If you need flat ground, definitely go with the creek site which is also close to the toilet. We went for a walk down to the creek and it was just as beautiful.
When we left it was raining again, and we had a bit of trouble getting out of the camp as the track gets slippery after rain and is a little steep. Tony came to the rescue and snatched us out with ease. Would definitely recommend to check the weather before you come or make sure you have a capable 4wd for wet weather.
The price of this hipcamp is extremely generous considering the privacy and the views you get from the ridge site. Absolutely will be staying again, thanks heaps Tony you’re a legend.

Tony was a gentleman and very keen for us to get the most of the experience. He was easy and professional to deal with. The firewood provided was excellent and the location beautiful with hills and a creek to explore for the kids.
Although we didn't have the experience we were hoping for he gave us a full refund.
All of which is a strong positive.
The site itself is going to be tricky to get to, and the lower sites are not suitable for caravans to access. it is a genuine 4wd track, it would be a challenge if the track was wet and muddy. There would be a risk of being stuck if not a decent 4wd.
There is a large flat site near the creek and it looks awesome (we were not allocated this despite being the largest group for the weekend we booked).
The site we were allocated was in a cow paddock with bumpy ground and deep hoof holes. It is not suitable for tents, and you cannot get a caravan, trailer or vehicle across the small creek to access it. It would be a 20-40m carry from the location you can park your vehicle to any tented site.
The mobile signal is patchy to non existent, which is a pro and con.
We decided to leave as the site was not suitable and we were concerned the kids would roll an ankle (the ground was indeed that bumpy). We had to drive up the hill to the summit to be able to reliably use our Telstra mobiles.
Overall it was an experience. I would not recommend anything other than the flat site.

Tony was super friendly and gave us all the info we needed. The free firewood was such a nice bonus!
I’ve had some not-so-great experiences with compost toilets before, but these were actually really clean.
Definitely recommend it.

We had a wonderful experience at Coorie Vale! From the start, host Tony and team were incredibly accommodating—sending clear instructions ahead of time and giving us a warm welcome upon arrival. Tony showed us to the camp and made sure we were comfortable, which really set the tone for a relaxing stay.
The location itself is peaceful and serene, with just the right touch of adventure. The drive in takes you through short rugged hills, adding to the charm and sense of escape. Being on a working farm, we loved seeing the cows around—quietly going about their day and adding to the authentic countryside vibe.
We stayed at The Ridge, which had plenty of FREE firewood ready for us and a great stone fireplace that we could move around as needed—Tony encouraged us to make ourselves at home, and we did! There’s a toilet facility just a short walk away, though it’s a bit closer to the creek site.
Do note, the terrain can get very slippery when it rains, so it’s definitely 4x4 only. We had some wet weather during our stay, but it didn’t dampen our spirits—it just added a bit more excitement!
