Our little piece of paradise is 50 acres of paddock and bushland set in the Glass House Mountains, halfway between Brisbane and Noosa. Property is close to lots of walking tracks and mountains to hike in the area and we are only 5ish mins drive from the town centres of Glass House Mountains and Beerwah. We are surrounded by pineapple farms and honest boxes of limes, pineapples and avocados are spotted along the nearby streets. Our little hobby farm is perfect for a city break! Wake up to the sound of chirping birds and wallabies passing through. There is an old macadamia orchid and we are currently in the process of building a new chicken coop, so will hopefully have hens and eggs soon! Numerous damns and creeks run through the property but they have not been cleared of weeds for swimming. Clyde is our resident horse who will likely come visit you at your campsite. He is the sweetest boy and loves nothing more than a carrot and a gentle pat. He is an old boy now so not suited for riding but is a wonderful companion! There are no facilities here so all campers will need to be self sufficient with a camping toilet. It is preferred that campers bring their own water but bore water can be supplied if you run out (not the ideal for drinking). I live in the main house so am available for any emergencies but will give you your privacy! Dogs are welcome as long as they do not chase off the wildlife and are calm around the horse. I have a dog at the house so must also be dog friendly or else kept on lead! Campfires are allowed in designated fire pit dependant on fire rating.This site is an open clearing by the dam. This site is an open clearing by the dam. This is the most picturesque site and you will regularly see ducks swimming by and might be lucky enough to see some wallabies in the morning. It is surrounded by large trees so you can find some shade. There is a line of macadamia trees creating privacy from the main house. There is a bit of weaving to get to the site but most vehicles/campers have been able to fit so far. If you are unable to get to the campsite you are welcome to pull up anywhere else on the property! There are no facilities so campers need to be fully self sufficient with camping toilet. Campfires permitted outside of fire season in provided fire pit. Took my two little ones for a night at Clyde's and we had an excellent stay. Remy was welcome and polite, and we all had a lovely time exploring around and meeting Clyde and the chooks. Would definitely recommend if you're after some peace.

Beautiful place to stay with lovely waterbirds and an awesome property with creeks and couple of dams, caught some fish. Clyde the horse was so friendly and made us feel very welcome can't wait to go back!

Remy's land was lovely! We loved hanging out with Clyde the horse, and relaxing by the creek. Remy was lovely, and we had such a great stay!

Our new favourite relatively close to home getaway. Great host, great welcoming committee (Clyde the horse) and loved being the only booking. We will definitely be back!

Clyde was an excellent host and a lovely companion. He's happy to give a bit of entertainment if you feed him. The human hosts were also welcoming and accommodating.

This was the perfect peaceful spot for our little break away. We loved how friendly and welcoming Clyde was, our son was delighted to open the door each morning and see Clyde waiting for his breakfast carrot. Thank you Remy.

Remy was so nice and accommodating. Wonderful place to stay if you are looking for complete peace and quiet. A rare place to find, you get the camp site area to yourself and only have to share with the property wild life and Remy’s horse Clyde, who is extremely friendly and such a sweet horse. Will definitely be going back many times in the future and has been added to one of my favourite places to stay.

A great get away! Remy the host is really friendly and responsive. Clyde the resident horse is really friendly and may have a desire to be a Hip Camper as he rarely left camp once we had arrived. With some treats from Remy, Clyde was our constant companion whilst at camp. There is a nice flat dam-side camp area easily big enough for a trailer/camper/van with enough space to turn around too. Remy supplied a great little fire pit and a bit of wood to get us started. So good to have a place that is so close to Brisbane and just a short drive to Maleny and Montville for coffee, eats and shopping if you feel inclined. All in all this is a great space but it’s 10/10 if you’re looking for a first trip or shakedown prior to a big trip. Thanks Remy, we really enjoyed ourselves.
