200 acre working farm located at the foothills of Lamington National Park. Cedar Glen Farmstay offers off-grid camping amongst alpacas, cattle, horses, camels and more. Enjoy a cool down in the Albert River and enjoy the stars at night by a fire. Cedar Glen is the perfect spot to wind down and enjoy the outdoors and nature. Cedar Glen has been a working cattle farm for over 100 years and a Farmstay for more than 30. The Farmstay also has 3 Cottages and a Homestead for accommodation. Guests can enjoy feeding the animals at an additional cost with staff and learning about the history of the property and the founders who settled on the land in the late 1800s and built the existing dwellings and farmed the thousands of acres surrounding the farmstay. What does our farm have to offer? An open space to camp with incredible views; A play area to keep the kids entertained including a tennis court, lawn games, basketballs and hoop, a trampoline and more; Swimming or floating down the Albert river from one end of the property to the other; Animal feeding - with the option of an animal encounter where you get to enter our paddocks with a farm hand and spend some time with our animals or buckets of feed to feed our animals through the fence (these are both at an additional cost).

Camping with family
Such a peaceful place with breathtaking landscapes. Very accommodating and friendly hosts. Toilets were a highlight considering it’s a camp ground, very clean and modern. Good facilities for families with kids including playground, trampoline and animal feeding option. We would be going back very soon for a peaceful reset for our lives.

Great place for young families
This place has recently changed management. Self-contained camping sites are all on a large grassy slightly slopey paddock. We were there on a “fully booked” weekend and still plenty of space. Fires allowed. Animal feeding is awesome – pigs, sheep, alpaca, pony, goat, camel, chickens and geese. Great place for small kids – tennis court area has lots of games provided, a totem tennis pole and trampoline. In summer the creek across the road would be awesome – just a little cool for us this weekend (April). Pricing is PER SITE (5 people). A new single ensuite shower/toilet combo and port-a-loo were recently installed. Dogs on a lead welcomed.

Nice property great for families
Nice property, friendly hosts, kids loved the animals, lovely swimming hole. Camping is on a big mowed paddock there were 10 other vans but had enough space to not feel cramped. Nice stay, thank you!

Open dog friendly camping.
After driving past Darlington Park campground on the way I was worried we’d be sandwiched in. Massive area for so few campers, I don’t think I heard anyone’s site throughout our stay. Very friendly staff and dog friendly. Mountain views and sunrises were awesome. We didn’t feed the animals but the train of kids following Zac around feeding them put a smile on our face. So close to Brisbane and so relaxing.
