Whether you’re seeking a romantic getaway or simply want to immerse yourself in nature — listening to the birds, spotting wallabies, and watching the local bush turkeys scratch around — you can relax on the deck overlooking the creek with your favorite beverage in hand. Enjoy a cozy fire under the stars at night. Our cabin is designed for you to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature away from the busy city life. Located just an hour from Hervey Bay and 40 minutes from the Waterfall Creek Rock Pools, the property is surrounded by national park and state forest, offering plenty of opportunities for adventure and exploration. Cabin by the Creek is in a quiet, secluded area with beautiful tropical surroundings. Enjoy nature’s simplicity — go sightseeing, take a peaceful walk, explore nearby national parks, visit the Waterfall Creek Rock Pools, or simply relax and recharge. The cabin sits on 50 acres of private land, tucked away in its own hidden area for you to enjoy all to yourself. This modern and comfortable space includes thoughtful furnishings to make your stay feel homely and enjoyable: • Ceiling fan • Bluetooth speaker bar • Large BBQ • Gas stove kettle • Basic cooking utensils • Herb stand • Oil diffuser • Complimentary red wine • Fridge with freezer • Microwave • A/C (connected to generator — we are off-grid) • Firepit • Torch • Umbrellas There’s also an outdoor firepit with a swinging hot plate and grill if you’d like to cook outside. We’re currently establishing a food forest around the cabin — so far, we have banana trees, mulberries, tomatoes, passionfruit, an apple tree, and pawpaws growing throughout the area. You may also spot our friendly local bush turkey stopping by for a visit — and keep an eye out for the amazing birdlife that makes this place so special.

    Cabin By The Creek
    A great hidden gem. It had everything we needed for our stay. From mozzie coils to kitchen staples, we really only had to bring food. Beautiful quiet location. We even saw fireflies at night. Just magical.
