Bungalow Bay Koala Village is a eco resort boasting a brilliant location just minutes walk from the beach front at Horseshoe Bay, located on Magnetic Island. We are offering three unpowered campsites and three bespoke island bungalows. Both of our listings will have access to shared bathroom facilities. Amenities include onsite deck bar, camp kitchen, laundry and wildlife park offering twice daily tours with rangers. Our team will help you to live like a local during your stay with all the best recommendations - exploring the 23 bays and beaches, National Park walking trails, snorkelling and best dining options. Join Brett, Janelle and the team at our eco resort that we have owned and managed for 18 years in the Magnetic Island community. Set on a 6 acre setting our guests love the natural setting teaming with wildlife and all the facilities on offer within the resort. Drive your car to an island on the reef!

    Not a scam — just a money grab

    This is a great little bungalow and camping site with plenty of amenities and a super cool staff. HOWEVER we were completely misled by Brett’s post on the hipcamp site. Not at all what we were expecting, and I was unable to get a hold of Brett before arrival either through the site or the telephone number he’s listed here. Speaking with the staff it became apparent he doesn’t have much to do with the day to day of the business anymore. Wasn’t a huge issue for us since we only stayed one night, but it could have been especially since I was under the impression we would have an electric and water hookup, which we did not.

    Had to Cancel - zero communication.

    Wish I could say more but had to cancel my stay immediately after booking. Heard no communication from the host when I notified them of this. Requested a refund but, again, no communication. Wish I could have stayed as it looked lovely. Would have preferred a denial of refund rather than a ghosting.
