Gateway to the South Branch off Emu Creek with the site off the Lincoln Wreck nearby. Sadly a resting place of 6 people. 1955, Mt Superbus. Highest peak in south east QLD. This is a Historic Area it should be respected and enjoyed by all. If you have plans to do the Lincoln Wreck or Steamers while staying please do some research either by Google or YouTube or ask us any questions please. These are wilderness walks that need to be treated with respect. Border Main Range National Park. Emu Creek Valley 20 km. Which places you close access to many park walks include 2km from the start of the Lincoln Bomber Walk. Or walk to the STEAMERS. Prow Funnel Mast Stern. Spring and Bellbird Walk on Broangus, commanding views of surrounding peaks. Our property offers three camping areas. Creek Flat, Paddock Areas. and Prow View. Fire pits at all sites. Can purchase bags off wood at property bags $10. Cracking camp areas prior to or after walks. Or just kick back with family and friends put a camp oven on relax and enjoy the mountain air. Camper trailers Caravan welcome. Recommend off-road or four-wheel-drive, on road vans can access but need to take it very slowly as there’s four water crossings with gravel and small rocks. SUV AWD/ 4X4 Access only 4 water crossing 15km of Dirt So as not to totally rely on HIP CAMP’s insurance we have a waiver which we will send after booking this is just too fully cover ourselves cheers

Absolutely gorgeous location and fantastic facilities!! Teamed with the very lovely Jacqui and her husband, it really is the ideal location to go away for a weekend break, or a week long unplug from the world. The creek is so beautiful, bubbling away in the background with lush green grass across the field, perfect to walk around to ground yourself, or the kids to kick the footy. The facilities and very clean and perfect to wash away the day. This is my second time camping here and I can’t recommend it enough. A+++

We loved camping at Broangus. The sites are huge and well maintained. We were right next to the creek which was just magic. Our little dog loved the freedom - glad she’s had her tick treatment. Amenities were great and the access to drinking water was so convenient. Don and his dogs were awesome!

Creekside was so magical I nicknamed it Narnia. Amenities block was spotless and hosts very welcoming. Make sure you have a 4WD to get there but enjoy the spoils when you do

A very unique campsite with wide green spaces, good facilities and friendly hosts. Everything was just right for a family with kids. It’s a very pleasant lush surrounding to wake up to. I could (and did) spend all days soaking up the views of the neighbouring peaks and forests.

We visited Broangus Bomber wreck rest for three nights and enjoyed every single minute of it. It was our first trip with an element of off road driving with our new 17ft caravan and its was a perfect introduction with four creek crossings and some gravel off-road driving which was 4 X4 but no problems at all. The drive in was very enjoyable and on arrival to the camp site we were both very happy with the stunning location. Jacqui & Don are extremely welcoming and they were the perfect hosts. The onsite amenities are clean and the shower was perfect. Sitting around the Camp fire looking at the mountains (The Prow) was something special. Broangus allows we behaved dogs which was highly appreciated as we travel with a small cavoodle and she was in her element. It was peaceful and we left feeling sad to return to the hustle and bustle of the city. Easily one of our favourites. Jacqui & Don thanks for being so awesome. A strong 10/10 for us we will be back for sure.

Incredible site. The views of the mountains are stunning. So secluded, you feel like you can really unplug and relax. Don and Jacqui were wonderful hosts. The amenities block was kept clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

What a beautiful location. Everything about the place was welcoming and so very peaceful. The creek running through the property was pristine and fun to explore. Ameneties block was close by and really clean and lovely. It was cold overnight so having a fire roaring at night was bliss. It was great to be able to purchase asxneeded. Thank you for welcoming us!!!

My wife have been camping for 43 years and we came to Broangus for our wedding anniversary. It is the nicest campsite we have ever been to! Absolutely gorgeous. Fabulous views, lovely and quiet, no motorbikes or mad 4WDers, amazing creek, great value firewood and generous fire pits, no bugs, beautiful grassy areas for camping, excellent amenities within easy walk but out of sight. Jacqui and Don are generous and friendly hosts. You do need a proper 4WD with high clearance but you don’t need to rush the creek crossing and shouldn’t have any trouble getting there. Lots of lovely walks too. We will be back for sure!!

What a beautiful spot to camp! Absolutely loved our site, beautiful landscape, sounds of the creek, flat site to roll out the swag and set up camp! The owners are very friendly and helpful, we arrived in the dark and they had set up a fire for us. Facilities were some of the best I've experienced at a hipcamp. One thing to note for accessing the site, they aren't joking when they say you need a 4wd. There had been a bit of rain leading up to our visit and the few creek crossings you do, if it's at night, are a little sketchy. Just something to be mindful of

The road in is a public road and is a bit rough given the enormous amounts of rain that has been around lately. You will need a 4WD because there are several creek crossings. Once you are there though it is serene and magical. The creek babbles, the birds abound there is nobody but you and nature. It would have been perfect if we could start a fire but the rain put paid to that. The amenities block is tidy and well kept.

Had a great time here over 4 nights with my sons 6 and 8. They loved exploring the creek and surrounding bushland. A truely peaceful spot. Jacqui and Don are great hosts and the property, including facilities are very well maintained. My boys cant wait to come back.

What an amazing spot! We arrived late to a campfire already burning and waiting for us - a beautiful surprise and definitely appreciated as we set up on a chilly night! Jacqui and Don were great hosts and very knowledgeable about the area. Somewhere we will visit again and again.

Such a rare find! Camping right next to a creek. You can buy good firewood at the property for $10 a bag. Flushing toilets and hot showers at this really great (pretty) toiletry block on the property. A great touch was very camp has a supplied rubbish bin and recycling bin so we didn’t have to carry all the empties out. The hosts were extremely informative and welcoming. Will be staying again.

We loved camping up at the yards - the view was beautiful and the whole property was gorgeous. Facilities were great and very clean. Our site was very private and the hosts were lovely. Will definitely be returning!

We had an amazing time at Broangus. Jacqui was very accomodating and made sure to provide us with ample information before the trip. The 4 creek crossings to the property made it extra fun. We camped at Creek 1 and had the best time hearing the serene water flow. Creek camps were lined from 1-4 to the left of the property. The property was well kept, grass was mowed perfectly. A few wet areas as there’s been plenty of rain recently but nothing good boots can’t handle. Wifi connection available for free at the guest deck, also perfect spot for sunset views. Jacqui was very generous and even invited us to their house deck to have better connection. Overall a beautiful trip, amazing camp with flushing toilets, heated showers, awesome hosts, amazing scenery. Our new favorite. Thanks to Jacqui and Don for sharing your piece of paradise. 🫶🏼

Beautiful setup. The little amenities block is tidy, clean and ticks all the boxes. We had terrible rainy and windy weather which means we didn't do any hiking but that will have to be for next time. We arrived late, in the dark and Don guided us to our campsite with his ute. It was a lovely touch. 6 creek crossings and 6 grids means 4WD only!
