Plenty of to camp so your not under each others awnings. Firepits and wood to use. Quiet surrondings. Shane kept us informed that a storm coming in which we didnt know about. Dog freindly - on leash.

Site 10 - Beelbi Creek Stop & Stay
Fantastic Hipcamp! Heaps of grass spots to choose from, free firewood, lots of nature - including fireflies, which we've never seen before. Shane, the host, was great and checked in with us to let us know a storm was coming. Stayed a week, but could easily have stayed for longer.

Easy access to camp grounds with good directional signage. Plenty of space with level sites. Clean and well maintained area. Would recommend to others who want a nice and quite relaxing spot.

Site 6 - Beelbi Creek Stop & Stay
We loved the location, the peace and quiet and wide open spots to camp on. The whole area is well maintained and is a credit to Shane, I would certainly recommend a stay if you want to get away from the noise and congestion of caravan parks. There is easy access to all the facilities of Hervey Bay, Toogum and Burrum heads We will certainly be back.

What a great place to stay! Large grassy sites (don’t worry about the site numbers when booking) just find your spot when you arrive. Plenty of space to spread out. Need to be fully self contained, but fire pits provided, wood available but you need a chainsaw to cut it.

We really enjoyed our stay at Beelbi creek stop and stay. Shane has done a great job with the campsites that are nice and flat, mowed beautifully and heaps of room to spread out. Not only that but Shane is a really nice, accommodating guy! Would highly recommended and will return one day.

Site 6 - Beelbi Creek Stop & Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shane's place with our 2 dogs, cat and caravan. The sites were massive, flat and each had a firepit with plenty of wood around. A good mix of shady and more open sites, depending on what you need and the time of year. Shane stopped to say hello on the first night and provided some great tips. The creek was easily accessible. The surrounding area (Burrum Heads, Hervey Bay etc.) is great, with the Toogum Mountain Bike trails being only a couple of minutes drive down the road.

Overall a beautiful spot along our journey up north. Beautiful open areas with ample space and views . Pontoon was great for adults and communal, we provided our own life vests for the kids ( it wouldn’t be safe if you have young kids or kids who like to elope or love water ) but great for older kids and couples . Still got to see a few fire flys in winter which was a win! Great spot for a solar set up . Great educational experience for bee nests and mud crabs for homeschoolers. And the wildlife callings at night. Close to some amazing beaches and great access to water down the road and large bins only 10 minutes away which we found. Host was amicable , we didn’t get to use the hire’s because the boats trailer wasn’t working and the paddle boards were also not available . Which we were made aware of by the host prior to arrival, which was good and considerate. Worth a visit ! :)

Exactly what we wanted and needed. Set up near the jetty, we were able to sleep, cook, fish and enjoy. 7 mins from sleepy Toogoom for morning beach walks and sightseeing. Shane was a friendly, hard working bloke with a great knowledge of the area and land. Stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the beautiful weather and community. Thanks Shane for a perfect getaway. Loved Beelbi Creek and the surrounds.

Excellent spot. Lots of flat clear space. Great spot for exploring the area. Good fishing and crabbing but to much fresh from the rain while we were there.

What a wonderful, peaceful place! We enjoyed our stay so much, we stayed an extra night. Shane has developed a relaxing camping environment complete with fire pits, fishing pontoon and boat ramp. Being able to hire a tinnie to go fishing was an awesome bonus. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

We had a great time here. Beautiful wide open area that's really well manicured, fire pits spotted around with firewood handy. Also, bike trails just around the corner. And had it to ourselves, so good! Thanks for having us

It was a lovely place to stay, lovely and green. Shane was friendly and welcoming when we arrived. Fire pits available for a cozy fire. Kangaroos hopping by. Very peaceful, could of stayed longer but had to move on.
