Ash’s place is in a great location , however the site was overgrown with weeds and grass, that needed slashing and flattening before we could park. The address is difficult to find as it is incorrect on Googles Maps.

Mixed feeling
Mixed reviews for here. Location wise is great. Very central.
Ash allowed us to stay and clean our caravan which was great. However we called upon arrival as per instructions with no answer, so we followed txt message instructions on where our spot would be only to find out after being set up and in our spot for an hour or more by another person upon arrival that it’s not the right spot and we had to move further out the back.
The lawn has not been mowed in a while. Sun or no sun we were getting eaten alive by god knows what. And you couldn’t see through the grass. I have 2 kids and they couldn’t play nor could we sit outside our caravan.
Just wasn’t for us unfortunately.

Good place for a night or 2. Water hose, electricity provided 10amp. Luckily we have a converter so we could switch from 10 to 15amp. Not recommended for tents as too much spiders and frogs. But if not bothered with that good place. In Mossman and 15 minutes away from Port Douglas. Good connection

Take the good with the bad..
This spot is great in terms of location. The availability of power and water was is also very much appreciated at this spot. But for us unfortunately it wasn’t a good fit. We were unable to sit outside of our van after the sun started to set due to the worst level of mosquitoes we have experienced on our trip so far (8 weeks in FNQ) and we were woken around 6am on Sunday morning by the neighbours who decided to bring their party back home from wherever they were. These things are out of the host Ash’s control but things to consider if wanting to stay here. Mixed review from us.
