Unique Farm Stay in the Woods
I would absolutely stay again. Very quiet spot with a super comfortable bed. I was in & out, so I just stayed the night, but Chris provides everything you could need. There is a BBQ, plenty of extra blankets in case it gets cold and a cupboard full of all the kitchen items you could need like pots & pans, a cutting board, utensils & more. Even a french press for coffee! Plus a small water cooler. And Bella, the sweetest dog, hung out with me for a while. I think she knew I missed my fur baby at home! The sheep came past in the morning so it was fun to see them. Chris went out of his way twice - once by saving me from having to backtrack to town for a little bit of ice & also by mailing me back my scarf! Yes, I would recommend this place - even if solely for the kindness of the owner & his dog.

Unique Farm Stay in the Woods
This place is magical. It exceeded my expectations. It was so very peaceful and relaxing; and pristine. The craftmanship of the structure was impressive and the bed so comfortable. Be prepared for stars and moon visits and EnJOY. I hope to return.

Amazingly unique tranquil stay
What an amazing 3 sided shelter/wall tent/platform! We loved laying in bed and listening to the sheep and turkeys on the property. It was the most tranquil stay we have had to date.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Uneven Ground Farm! It was a unique experience. The cot and futon were very comfortable. Enjoyed seeing the Icelandic sheep. The outdoor shower has hot water! If you go be sure to purchase fresh free range eggs and sausage to cook for your breakfast 😋

Amazing stay! Chris and Charlie are wonderful hosts, and we are so grateful that they accepted us and our THREE pups on a working farm. Their space is incredibly peaceful (except for our dogs barking), and it was the perfect escape from fireworks and city noise. The site is so comfortable, and I honestly can't remember when I've slept so soundly. Very comfortable bed, thoughtful touches everywhere, clean outhouse - plus Ernie the Alpaca, lots of sheep, wild turkeys and Bella the farm dog. Couldn't ask for anything more!

Unique Farm Stay in the Woods
Wow! This was far and beyond our expectations! Chris was very welcoming, the platform sleeping area faces toward the fields and nearby hills, the composting toilet was clean, and there were great cooking/grilling options. The sheep came by for an early morning visit, we heard owls in the distance at night, watched bats zoom around in the dark and had a wonderful time.

A truly fantastic stay
Easily one of my favorite hipcamp stays to date. Chris is an exceptional host and his property is amazing. The 3 wall structure exceeded all expectations and made for a very comfortable stay. We kept warm and dry even in the rainy 50 degree weather. Chris went above and beyond to ensure we had all we needed (dry firewood, water, utinsels, etc.) and everything just worked out so nicely. It was really great to relax and recharge for a weekend. Between the farm/livestock views, comfort of the lodging and the genuine care the host has, this site has something to offer every kind of camper.

The 3 walled open structure was so cool! Chris set up a little bonfire for us and was so helpful and friendly. The animals were adorable. Didn’t have the time to use the shower, a bummer, definitely would’ve been a unique experience!

Amazing……Peaceful……
The campsite and the land were so beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay and love everything about the farm and animals. Chris is a great host. He had provided me adequate clear instructions for driving to campsite. This was my first camping experience and Chris reminded me what to bring for weather, recommended type of sleeping bag. Overall the experience was amazing and I love this camp site.

Peaceful hillside retreat
What a sweet retreat from the world. This open faced cabin is nestled on a hill in the trees with ample privacy. There are unexpected charming details such as vintage pillows on the Adirondack chairs and bowl of fresh fruit awaiting. Although we brought some food we had premade, there is everything you need to cook a meal or BBQ with kitchen supplies tucked into antique furniture. The sound of bleating sheep and crowing roosters will wake you in the morning along with wild birdsong. The hosts were super friendly and have put a lot of work into this cabin and the well appointed outhouse. Absolutely would stay here again and plan to in the fall or spring.

It was an amazing stay. The hosts were friendly and inviting. The location was just tucked into the woods through a field with sheep and other wildlife. They put a lot of time and thought into the location. It was really hard to leave in the morning.
