Our Private Land is located along the Oregon Coast. Daily you can hear the ocean roar and smell the fresh air off the water. It is a forest area accessible by trails that all link together. There is also a very nice trail off our land to a nearby city trail that will lead you to Agate Beach.  You will see coastal evergreens and deciduous trees with all sorts of other bushes and flowers that you typically find along the Oregon Coast. Some of the wildlife on the land such as blacktail deer and many species of birds are seen and heard on most days. You will see breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, the Yaquina Bay Bridge, the Yaquina Head Lighthouse, and Big Creek Reservoir. These landmarks can be seen randomly throughout your walk on the trails and from the campsites. There are beautiful sunsets and sunrises. On a clear night you can see the constellations, undisturbed by city lights.  Our property provides a lot of room to be by yourself.  Hammock, book, write, read, and my favorite... take a nap. A place of peace and solitude away from the public.

Oceanview Rock Ridge
Quiet, clean, spacious
This is a dream Hipcamp location. Spots are sooo spacious, and there is a lot of room between spots. Not complete privacy, but you’re far enough away from other campers, it feels very private. Stunning views. Excellent hosts - friendly and helpful. Clean port-a-pottty. It was incredibly quiet at night. What more can you ask for?

Relaxing, spacious and private stay
Really lovely place. Spacious, private and we hiked to the beach from the site which was really fun. Also there was a playground nearby for our toddler to visit. The fruit trees in bloom were a bonus and the host was very helpful and nice. The deer were often present and nice to see. Our family felt safe and would be great for a large group.

Creek and Forest
Tranquil oasis
This was a beautiful, quiet spot for our little RV with plenty of room for our dogs to play. The space was so large we could have had a huge family gathering, but still perfect really for just the two of us. Close to town and the beach. The hosts provided a very clean porta potty and hot hand wash station and we had a surprise bonus of some firewood. The beautiful bench, picnic table and large fire ring were perfect for our needs. The hosts even check in with us to see if we needed any wood or more hot water. We can’t wait to go back for our next trip to try one of their other sites!

Mike’s camp is a remarkable find. The coastal highway, beaches and Newport in-town attractions are moments away. But you’d never know that at the campsites where solitude and silence prevail. The black-tailed deer are calm and curious. The hosts are friendly. We will be back.
