The Evans Farm is a Century Farm which has been in our family for three generations (with the fourth generation children enjoying it now).  It was a self sufficient family farm for many years with Jersey Dairy cattle, Suffolk Sheep, pigs, quality horses, both Draft and Riding, and a flock of chickens.  A large garden supplied family vegetables.  A love for the land and the area were all part of the Farm.  Located two miles from Joseph, three miles from Wallowa Lake, and close to hiking, fishing, camping, and outdoor adventures, the Farm is secluded but offers easy access to the surrounding area.

Evans Farm Glamping Tent
Excellent glamping experience
The glamping tent is perfect! Location was quiet and excellent for exploring the area. Kathleen and Grady are gracious, friendly hosts who made us feel comfortable and cared for. The shower, toilet and amenities in the tent made for a comfortable stay.

Misleading, overpriced listing
We reserved this space for three nights but ended up staying two after realizing the listing is very misleading. In the end, the site is not by a river, does not have a private bathroom, is next to a goat and horse stable, and has zero shade (it reached 100 deg. when we were there). The closest running creek is about 200 yards away. They say there is a bathroom but make sure and read the description so you know that it’s a five-gallon bucket with a toilet lid and no toilet paper. Camping toilets don’t bother us, but there is no shade or privacy provided. The Glamping tent, small Airbnb, and house all look down into the campsite and could watch. Not to mention the driveway that borders the campsite. The owners also didn’t seem to respect the space or its occupants. The directions aren’t accurate; the owner said that the landmark they provide to find the spot hasn’t been there for two years. They were initially unresponsive to calls, messages through the app, and text messages as we were trying to find our space and set up. They have a fire pit, but it’s very close to dry brush, none of which was cut back to avoid the chance of a field fire. The campsite is directly next to goats which we’re bleating through the night and horses who would kick around. Not to mention they invited others around our campsite to sell pallets while our dogs were off leash and we were relaxing. Overall WAY overpriced and should be avoided until they provide any value they say they do.

Our family had a great time tent camping here. Views are unbelievable. Hosts we're very personable and accommodating. The camp set up had electric hookups and water hose which made camping with kids convenient and easy. Proximity to Joseph and Enterprise make this property ideal. We'll definitely be back!

Camping wonder
Unforgettable! We stayed for three days. We were there in the rain and on bright sunny days. The property is peaceful and expansive, and stunningly beautiful. In the tent we found room and comfort for two adults, three kids, and our 90 pound lab. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful- it was clear that they wanted us to have a great stay. We ended our days with a warm campfire and woke up to the sound of braying horses. Very fond memories for our family.

Glamping with ponies and mountains🏔
It was a great clamping experience. Grady was always available whenever we had any questions. He was able to accommodate us on such short notice when we were passing through the area. The ponies would keep us company in the morning when eating breakfast on the porch. The view was incredible to wake up to. The outdoor shower was an incredible experience! Highly recommend

Glamping with Mountain View
We had a total blast at this spot! Kathleen and Grady were wondering hosts who provided us with everything we needed. Would highly recommend this place for an “all inclusive glamping” experience! The view of the mountains alone was priceless!

Evans Farm Glamping Tent
The tent looked amazing, but unfortunately we were not able to stay. The wildfire smoke was too much for my asthma and we changed our plans. Kathleen was super sweet, as was her husband who greeted us when we arrived. Hoping to reschedule!
