This location offers simple pull-in campsites with options for fielded open-sky views or shaded oak-grove locations. And a big beautiful white camp tent that looked enticing! Most camp spots have their own benefits, with only one or two less than desirable spots.
What makes this hipcamp unique are the amenities in the oak grove area. The paved basketball court (also called the dance floor), a large fire pit with seating, and a fully covered + enclosed community space with windows all around and furniture + cooking equipment. This would make for a great place to spend time with friends or kiddos while cooking dinner or once the sun goes down. One thing though, Im not sure if all those beautiful string lights were working? I tried turning on a couple sets, but without luck.
Getting there was a little more difficult than I would have hoped. My navigation took me to a gravel road on the backside of the property. And the sign for the camping location off the main, paved road is quite small. But, reading the owner's notes for getting there ended up helping me find my way. May I suggest a bigger sign though? That could help quite a bit.
Also, am I correct in that there is only a single (very clean!)
porta potty in the camp? Might be inadequate if bookings grow...
Iooking forward to visiting again. The property and drive to get there is beautiful. Next time I'll bring some friends and kiddos, I think that'll really make the vibe of the oak-grove shine.

This place was great. We had the place to ourselves for the most part this time so the dogs had an amazing time and the border collie that runs around is so sweet and playful, very friendly! We loved the quiet and beautiful views, the stars at night when it’s not cloudy are great. We will be back and will bring our friends! We love how spread out the spots are and the port-o-potty was clean and actually had toilet paper, honestly better than a lot of campgrounds we have been to that are state run so that was a huge plus.
Although we spent most our time away from our campsite out around Tillamook forest, the proximity to town in Carlton is great and really makes it convenient in case you happen to forget something at home or you need to re-supply. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you so much to the hosts for sharing your property, such a great place to spend the weekend!!!!

Took my 17’ trailer to this campsite. The incline of the driveway is deceptively quite steep so be mindful of that! Otherwise it is a beautiful property, I had the place to myself. If other people were there it seems like the spots are distanced enough to not be overly annoying. Porta potty was clean and stocked.

We didn't know it would be almost 100 out when we booked a long birthday weekend camping trip. Luckily there are a few spots tucked away under the trees. It was nice to pull in and pick a nixe shaded spot we wanted. At the time only one other spot was taken. There ended up being a huge grad party down the way. We didnt mind the music and laughter. It was fun to listen to! Music ended by 8:30 pm and most guests seemed to have left. The mosquitoes were pretty intense. There is some standing water behind one of the camp spots. That could be a big part of the problem. The only other concern was pulling in off main road. Its narrow and if anyone had been coming out we would have been stuck with someone backing in or out. We have a trailer so that would not have been fun. We got lucky coming and going! Whitney was excellent at responding to any questions leading up to this weekend!! 👏

The bathrooms were rough and ran out of TP, the community area was also out of firewood and a bit past dusty while the fire pit was basically in a groups campsite. However, the lotus was beautiful and well cleaned with all the basic supplies. A bit of an odd juxtaposition but we enjoyed ourselves. Perhaps going too early in the season was our downfall.

The field spot was beautiful to watch the sunset and enjoy the view. The grove spots are more private if that’s your preference. Location was great and porta-potty was clean.
Definitely, enter the actual address into your maps. I used google, maps and Waze and all directed me to the road behind the property.

We had a 22ft campervan and the only spots appropriate would be the first 3 spots looking over the view. It was peaceful and lovely with bonone around. Would have been less tranquil if others had been parked next to us. For reference we were there the Sun-Mon of Memorial Day weekend.
I would not recommend any bigger rigs or RVs at this site. It would be hard to turn around and maneuver. And the grove area seemed very congested with all the campsites full. We had trouble making several points turns when we pulled into the grove area with other campers parked in their sites.
The porta potty was very not clean and looks to not have been serviced since Nov 2024. I'd rather have gone in the grasses. Didn't want to post pics out of courtesy to the host but it was bad.
The glass house was a bit run down and overblown with leaves. The volleyball and basketball courts are overgrown with weeds. The pics on the HipCamp post seem to have been taken in its glory days.
Appreciated the peace and quiet, the lovely grassy views, the responsive host and the water from the hose. But not likely to return.

Whitney’s Celestial Fields is a wonderful place for families to explore. There is plenty of space for solitude and the views are mesmerizing, relaxing, escaping.
We parked in one of the four backin sites away from the Glass House gathering place. Perfect, still and dark.
The gathering place is in need of some TLC but as the season progresses, I bet that will happen.
A SUGGESTION! Make sure you read the directions to the property carefully and follow them precisely. Had I done that we would have arrived two hours earlier.

Beautiful views of rolling hills and a lovely oak forest full of songbirds. Easy to get to, clear instructions from host (google maps will steer you wrong!), and neat clubhouse. Recommended!

It was such a breathtaking view overlooking the coastal hills to the west, and the stroll into the oak grove allowed me to see the Willamette wine country to the northeast. I loved car camping here and feeling so well rested.

It's boon-docking on private land. Good choice between sunny meadow and shady trees. Small but fairly level sites. Sorely needs an entrance sign for the access road, as well as mileage from key landmarks and a map.

We loved bringing our 24 ft trailer up to Celestine Fields for the weekend. Their friendly doggo played with our pup and we had a great view from our spot. We also saw plenty of wildlife including a dozen deer bound across the field. The smell of the sweet grass was delightful!

Really nice place to relax. Right in the middle of wine tasting country and the Whiskey trail, if you love distillerys. Couple secluded campsites. Beautiful views from little cabin, which was perfect for rainy days. Provided small amenities like stove with propane, silverware, etc. Whitney was very helpful, gave some great ideas for restaurants in the area. Definitely a 4wheel drive area in the winter. Would definitely go back.

Celestine fields was a great get away for my partner and I even on a cold rainy weekend. We were able to relax while still staying connected. This really gave us novice campers the ability to camp in the elements without have to worry. I'm sure this property is even more incredible in the Summer! I could definitely see myself coming back!

Easy to find with the directions provided, quiet, peaceful. Space heater great for chilly nights. Simple amenities, all you need for an overnight stay when you’d prefer to sleep in a bed over your car or tent!

What an amazing spot! We camped at the edge of the oak grove and had a beautiful view across the valley. We were the only people there that night and we were able to make a small fire and just sit outdoors and enjoy the peace and quiet. You could feel the vibes of all the great times that must have been had there in the past!

Ah what a dreamy weekend. Surprised my husband with a weekend birthday trip and everything was perfect. Whitney was oh so nice and accommodating. I highly recommend renting this tent and would love to come back some time in the future.
