Beautiful riverside camping, nestled in the cedars. Guests can hike the 1.5km trails, bird watch, roast marshmallows on the campfire, lay back and relax by the river. Close to Misty Meadows Mennonite market, where you can purchase fresh produce and baked goods. Walk the quiet country backroads. Head to Durham Conservation, Wilders Lake or Bell’s lake to kayak or canoe. Local golf courses nearby. Rural and rustic.Tucked into the cedars this river front site. Is a little heaven away from the hustle and bustle. Perfect for soaking in the river.. Guests will enjoy 1 acre to themselves, but please note there may be another group visible nearby. Guests will have access to communal outhouse. just a 2 minute walk away. There are no hookups at this site.

Guests will enjoy 1 acre to themselves, but please note there may be another group visible nearby. Guests will have access to communal outhouse. just a 2 minute walk away. There are no hookups at this site.

Yurt at the River Retreat
We love how private & secluded this place is! I brought my first time-camper friends and they really enjoyed it! Kuddos to Heather, the owner is very accommodating, she changed the 12-hr notice for us to be able to book 4hrs before the checkin time. Pros: - very private, you can’t hear any noise from the other tent site - riverside with peaceful ambiance - a lot of chairs & tables - enough firewood - huge & clean place, with playground for the kids. - big yurt, can accommodate 10-12 pax even though it is only 6max. bring your own airbed, or just borrow camp cots to the owner. Cons: - No lights/electricity. Needed to bring flashlight. - Quite difficult to locate the exact place, needed to stop to read each road signs. - No running water This place is not fully develop yet but it is already wonderful! Just needed more lights to make it more lively & feel safe.

Riverside Cedars
Very secluded, private site. Riversite is awesome, surrounded by nature, lush vegetation, slowly moving creek and all kinds of birds, including blue heron. Good place to recharge away from city rush.
