Sandusky KOA Holiday Campground has been proudly family-owned since 1968, and today my wife and I are honored to carry on the tradition as the third generation. We’re passionate about blending the charm of our long-loved campground with fresh ideas, new activities, and upgraded amenities—creating a fun, welcoming destination that families return to year after year. Our campground offers the perfect “city-campground” atmosphere, with everything you need right at your fingertips. Each season, we add even more ways to play and relax: exciting recreation options, themed weekends, updated accommodations, and activities for all ages. Enjoy golf cart, pedal cart, and rydable rentals; bounce on our jumping pillow; grab a treat from the snack bar; strike it rich at our gem mine; or wind down with family movie night—and that’s just the beginning! Plus, we’re the closest campground to Cedar Point and Sports Force Parks, making us the perfect home base for your summer adventure. Pack your bags, bring the family, and make unforgettable memories with us.Our 2-Bedroom Bunk Bed Park Model is a fantastic choice for youth teams, families, or groups traveling together and looking for a comfortable, convenient stay. Sleeping Arrangements: Master Bedroom: 1 full-size bed, Second Bedroom: 2 sets of bunk beds (sleeps 4) — a cozy space ideal for kids or team members, Additional Sleeping: Futon (pull-out bed) Interior Features: Full kitchen for easy meal preparation, Full bathroom, Bed linens provided, Bath towels for 6 provided, Cable TV, A practical, family-friendly layout designed for groups on the go, Outdoor Amenities: Fire pit area located behind the unit—perfect for relaxing evenings, Small parking area (please be mindful of neighboring campers) These units are located along our back fence line and offer a comfortable, budget-friendly option for groups needing space and convenience. We look forward to hosting your family or team and providing a great stay. Important Information: No pets allowed — $100 minimum fee applies if violated, Check-in time: 4:00 PM, Quiet hours: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM, We are a city-park-style campground, which means our environment is active, family-friendly, and full of energy. We offer two pools, a playground, a jump pillow x2, pedal carts, and more. If you are seeking a very quiet, rural setting, we will not meet those expectations. A train does run frequently off property; while we have no control over its schedule, we do apologize for any disruption it may cause. Birthday parties, group gatherings, and multiple visitors must be approved by management — please call ahead for details. The staff at this KOA rocks it! I know that’s an oversimplification, but the staff is really that good. They not only have great staff, they have plenty of them around the facility to help with any needs. You don’t feel like you’re abandoned when needs or problems arise. Miss Anna and Miss T whip up great breakfasts! There was a great variety of activities for the kids and the pools were clean and inviting. We look forward to coming back!

This park may be suburban, but it is in a beautiful location on the lake. So many improvements and lots of amenities to enjoy! We were there on one of their Halloween weekends. We own a campground ourselves, so it was really nice to stay here and be taken care of. Highly recommend.

This was one of the nicest campground that I have stayed. The park is nice. Campground store has everything you need. The fishing pond is gated with benches for sitting. Price is good. Pools looked very inviting. I will definitely stay there again when in this area.

Peaceful and quiet camp ground. Staff was really friendly. My family had a cabin right next to the train tracks and the main road but still had very little noise. My grandkids love the playground and the swimming pools most!

Great campground overall! Stayed in a cabin that was very clean and modern. The staff were also very friendly. Another big perk is that it's only a 5-7 min drive to Cedar Point!

Excellent camping facility! We stayed in one of the cabins and our friends brought their campers. The layout is great with the pool, store, and kids area centrally located on the grounds. Two pools helps alleviate overcrowding. Excellent activities for the kids! The area is clean and secured overnight. And very close to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Cabin was a bit pricey, but was worth it. Spacey, clean, and A/C! Great for a weekend getaway!

We stayed here twice this summer. 1st time was for our anniversary and i had booked our RV site and 2 cabins for our parents. The staff was amazing and helped us get our older parents settled into their cabins. Answered all our questions and were very helpful the whole time we were here. We then stayed in October with our friends. We were bayside during the worse rain storm we have seen in awhile. It was crazy windy bayside and even though it was miserable weather wise we made some amazing memories dealing with it. We can't wait to stay here next year. We will be staying here instead of at Cedar points campgrounds as its nicer and more camper friendly plus its only 10 mins to the front gate. Thank you KOA and well done staff!

Every year we have our Sisters weekend here. Been doing for a few years now. It is close to Cedar Point for Halloweekend. The staff is friendly & nice, Our cabin , campground is clean well maintained. We really enjoy ourselves during our stay! The train does not even bother us!!!!! See you next month for our Sister's Weekend! I bought a bag of kettle corn in your store last year, it was so good i want some more!!!!

Entire baseball team 13u and families stayed her opting out of hotels. Place was great. Staff awesome. Buddy cabins had everything we needed. Fresh linens daily, trash service. Those with campers were right next to the cabins. The staff made the boys 2 giant frosted chocolate chip cookies to welcome them. Kids went swimming, fishing, hoops, bounce pad, pedal bikes. No getting yelled at running the halls of the expensive hotels! 3 minutes from Force Sports park and about 8 from Cedar point. When you first pull in it looks a little sketchy but its fenced in and literally its own little park dropped in the middle of the area. Can't say enough about the staff - all of them were great!
