**CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR 2025 WET SEASON***REOPEN 2026 DRY SEASON** Welcome to our peaceful bush campground just 40 minutes from Darwin! Tucked away on a quiet 25-acre block, our private campground is the perfect base to explore the Top End. Set up your fully self-contained vehicle on a powered or unpowered site, enjoy fresh pump-driven water (with plenty of pressure), a washing machine, dump point, and plenty of space to relax. We’re friendly dog friendly—and family friendly too (no extra charge for kids!). Take a stroll around the block, visit the veggie patch, feed the chickens, wander through native bushland to spot magnetic termite mounds and local flora and fauna, or just kick back under the stars. With land-based fishing and crabbing spots a short walk across the road or boat ramp 2 mins away, try your hand at some fishing! Within 10 minutes, you’ll find everything you need: local IGA, hardware store, cafe, tavern, post office, pharmacy, and a medical centre. Cool off with a swim or picnic at Berry Springs (5 mins), spot wildlife at the Territory Wildlife Park (5 mins), day trip to Litchfield (30 mins) or Kakadu (90 mins). Darwin city is just a 40-minute drive. The hosts are happy to share local tips to help you make the most of your NT adventure. Campsites: Powered 1 – Light shade mornings, midday full sun, afternoon shade Powered 2 – Large site with option of full sun all day or part shade most of the day Powered 3 – Light shade early morning, midday full sun, afternoon shade Powered 4 - Light shade early morning, midday full sun, afternoon shade Powered 5 – Very large site, heavy shade mornings, filtered shade midday and afternoon Powered 6 – Very shady mornings, part shade midday, shady afternoons Unpowered 1 – Light shady mornings, midday full sun, afternoon shade Unpowered 2 – Light shady mornings, midday full sun, afternoon Note: No tents. Fully self-contained vehicles only. Bookings essential. Directions for getting there: From Cox Peninsula Rd, turn onto Southport Rd. Drive the end and turn left onto Mira Road at the T-junction. We’re the first gate on the left (230 Mira Road).

All of our sites are large, with some sun and shade with pleasant surroundings. Site 1 has the option to be in the sun for most of the day or you can be nestled within the trees. You have the area from the power point to the driveway to yourself. There are a few options of where to camp on this site.

We had a great time at Two Rivers! Dan was very accommodating, and full of tips on what to do in the area. Berry Springs is <10 minutes away. The site itself was well tended to, and the kids enjoyed interacting with the chicken. A dump point, book swap and washing machine were added bonuses!

Such friendly hosts who shared their backyard with us. The camp ground was clean, well maintained and perfect below the shady trees. Great spot as a base for Berry Springs.

Mel and Dan are fantastic hosts. Nice area and a community feel in the camp which is refreshing.They even let me borrow their welder to fix up my truck :) Would book again 10/10

We loved our stay here and we will definitely be back if we are in the area again! Owners are lovely and accomodating. We have two kids who also enjoyed themselves with the smaller camp ground feel which meant they could run around without the dangers of a busy park. 10/10

A fabulous hip camp! Mel & Danny are the ultimate hosts…helpful, kind and friendly! They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is comfortable and happy and take great pride and care in their camp. It has everything you need here: power, water, dump point, Telstra reception and bins. And the location to berry springs is fabulous! We stayed for a week and we highly recommend!

We felt immediately welcome at two rivers, kids and all. Dan and Mel took the time, every time, for conversation, showing our kids around their chickens and garden, and for any question we had throughout our stay. They accommodated us at every turn. Mel put on a projector movie and a communal fire on the weekend to bring everyone together, which created an amazing atmosphere. We noticed several other campers decided to extend their stay after arrival, and for good reason. These are such genuinely good people, we'll certainly be back. Thank you Dan and Mel for sharing your place with us. Frances, Matt and the kids.

We loved staying here at Danny’s place. The kids loved making friends and Danny took them all to collect eggs which they loved. A short drive to Berry springs and 45 minutes to Darwin. Such a great base Power and water such a treat for the price too! Thanks for having us!

Danny's place is fantastic! Power and water in a rustic rural setting is such a treat on hot days. Danny's property is well laid out and way maintained, with plenty of recycling and rubbish spots available. There's also a dump point and the kids can collect chicken eggs. Danny is a wonderful and kind host who made us feel very welcome and checked on us often, ensuring we had everything we need. One of the best Hipcamps we have been to lately. Thank you Danny!
