Camp Wallaby
Place was nice and quiet whilst we were there and room to walk the dog. A bush camp style setup, we had power and water. Mozzies smashed us in the end so moved on, but thats just the timing and not the fault of the site. Owners were nice.

I've done dozen of Hipcamp and this one is the first that didn't send me any message before I arrived. This is also the most expensive. And despite the unclear instruction, the owner made a comment on how I shouldn't come to his property without introducing first at the house. And he's right ! Except that : how are we suppose to know which way to go to the house (there're 3 main paths from the main gate) ? And there're few houses on the block ! I was there for only few minutes, lost on what to do, trying to contact them to have more info. He still found a way to be unpleasant despite the customer doing all the message work for them ! Hope you'll better informed your customers from now and treat them with more respect. Specially after paying 43$ for an unpower site, I find this crazy to be treated that way.

Close to local shops and a short easy drive in to Darwin CBD. The hosts allowed you to choose your site rather than place you near other Hipcampers.

Great camp spot. Easy to book and the host Melissa is just lovely. She greeted us on arrival and showed us around. My kids got to feed a carrot to a donkey in the morning. I recommend it!

We spent 8 days camping at Camp Wallaby & would thoroughly recommend it. The site we chose was a private bush setting with both water & power. The camp is within 15 minutes from Darwin CBD & a short distance from all tourist attractions. Our hosts were very pleasant & helpful.
We will definitely return there.

Wallaby Camp is 20 minutes South of Darwin CBD.
We enjoyed this place as a base to check out Darwin.
We had a lovely shady site to relax in the late arvo & evening.
I’m happy to recommend this camp.

Mel's land was lovely and peaceful, and we enjoyed our stay there. If you like quiet bush blocks and very friendly helpful hosts, close to everything, this is the place :)

A beautiful place to stay while visiting Darwin. Peaceful place to relax after a day out exploring. Power and water a bonus and lovely hosts. Only a short drive into Darwin CBD and 5 minutes from supermarkets, cinema, shops, and the Palmerston water park. Kids were comfortable to ride there bikes around and we always felt safe and secure.

We loved our stay with Melissa & Steve.
Extremely welcoming & helpful hosts.
On their property you feel like you are in the bush but you are only minutes from Palmerston shops & services. Darwin is an easy drive for all your sightseeing.
Sites with shade or sun, power or non power for whatever you require.
We definitely recommend Wallaby Camp & will return.

Lovely hosts and a great place to stay only 15 minutes from centre of Darwin. Nice shaded sites close to the homestead, powered sites with water supply and a welcoming menagerie of roosters, chooks, mules and other bird life. The hosts are keen dog lovers and regularly participate in dog shows. Well behaved dogs are welcome. We would happily stay again next visit to Darwin.

Great place lot of room when we were there. Has water and power but not toilets or showers. Melissa was a good host, we even scored a jar of homemade jam off of her husband. Close to acmajoe centre.

Camp Wallaby was beautiful and peaceful. It was an absolute lovely stay. Our hosts were welcoming and helpful, and they let us say hi to the dogs which was a highlight for us.
A perfect spot to explore Darwin from, close to everything but with a lovely bush vibe.

This is our home away from home. We love staying in our caravan and leaving our little dachshund with Melissa where he is happy and very well looked after.
The sites are always immaculate and private. The property is beautifully kept and Melissa and Steve are friendly and welcoming.
Darwin hipcamps best kept secret, you won’t regret your day.

Camp Wallaby was is the perfect spot to feel on a country block far out of the city yet actually only minutes from shops! Most parts of Darwin can be reached within 20-30 minutes.
Wonderful hosts made us feel very welcome!
Would thoroughly recommend this hipcamp!

Lovely relaxed spot. Friendly hosts.
There were dogs there, but all were quiet except if my boys rode past them on their bikes, which is to be expected. The boys only did it twice then realised they were they problem, not the dogs. We would stay again.

Loved camping at Camp Wallaby. About 15mins from Darwin on a quiet property. Very close to Coolinga where there is Kmart, Coles and Bunnings. Can camp under the trees or in the paddock (for solar). Has goats, donkeys and a mini pony that wanders past in the paddock behind. Dog friendly. Camp host very welcoming and very helpful. Definitely recommend.

The stay at camp wallaby was good. However it was show time and the camp was very doggie friendly. So many dogs and I like dogs! But the barking was a bit off putting during the day and a walk was upsetting them more. I would have liked to be told about the dogs before. It was also a bit disconcerting to see all the other campers using the owners facilities when we were having to provide our own. Small things.
