We had a great stay at Lakes Resort on a powered site in a camper trailer. We ended up staying longer than we originally planned, thanks to the helpfulness and friendliness of the managers, Mick and Julie. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
Yes, some of the amenities are a little tired, but it's worth remembering that the managers aren't the owners. They're working within the limits of staffing, time, and the owners' expectations. If they could get reliable, quality cleaning staff—as Mick and Julie know themselves—it would make a huge difference.
The resort is quiet, the other guests were friendly, the pool was great, and the water pressure was excellent. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the effort Mick and Julie put into making it a positive experience.

The New Management at this site were exceptional Hosts. Catered for every need with enthusiasm and a warm friendly smile at all times. Noticeably under the pump to ensure this Resort is continuing to be improved to the standard that is expected by the thousands of today's travellers..
We loved it in every way which included morning visits with the Geese, Bird life and Turkeys as they waddled through the park without a care in the world. Soooo relaxing.

We had such a relaxing stay at this peaceful camping resort!
The vibe is super chilled, and the managers Julie and Mick are absolutely lovely—so welcoming and helpful. Theres Happy hour upstairs on the big shadey deck , and having the restaurant onsite is a big plus for those nights when you just don’t feel like cooking. The pool was a real highlight for a cool dip after a long day exploring the surrounding attractions and springs. We also loved the adorable baby ducklings, the quirky mix of ducks waddling around, and of course, George the Turkey is a local legend.
Its a great spot to unwind and soak up some serenity!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our powered site was grassy and shady. The sites are really big. The ablutions are great, nice and clean, plenty of them and the water pressure in the shower is on point. Enough washing machines to go around, they are card paid. There is a resident turkey and ducks which come and say hi daily which is pretty cool. A very peaceful place to stay and only 30 minutes from Darwin which makes it a great place to base yourself to explore, which we did. Will definitely stay again.
