The site is well furnished (tents, tables, chairs and fire pit) and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The string lights add a great ambience after dark (make sure to ask for them to be plugged in). The only downside is the roosters who start crowing as early as 3:00 AM and may awaken light sleepers.

Great space, lovely property, wonderful hosts. We had a group of 10 for overnight camping and we had room to spare. We definitely plan to come back!
The big tent is BIG and could have probably accommodated all 10 of us. But we chose to spread out a bit so the kids could have their own little tent sleepovers.
There were pretty lights, comfortable easy bathroom access, chairs for sitting around the fire, a gate to keep kids in, and the star attraction was visits from the dog!
We also enjoyed watching the cows come up to fence with the baby calves. We spent hours down by the creek.

First time camping! I traveled an hour notified host 3 separate times she responds stating come on back i was at the wrong location (next door) she responds back as I come in to her driveway. She did that that and eventually was happening on the property but would not stop me. I saw the trail using pictures off the site. I asked if I was in the correct space to put tent up before dark. No response kids quiet from goat farm at 9pm still no response or instructions to bathroom which the app said there was a flushable toilet. Firepit was wet couldn't get a fire started. CAMP right next to highway they ran hard and loud til 1am then some hit a deer about 130am there lights flashed directly into the tent waited about an before someone came and shot it 4 times so loud my dog was shaking the rest of the morning. By 4am a dump truck came to dump ashfalt next door. Before sun came up I thought I would see sunrise NOPE! Just surrounded by red dirt. I left and came about 630am. I'm ready to go again but not the same site. There was a note from the host asking that we clean up behind our selves. But there was an abandoned tent and an old grill thrown in the woods.

This was such an adorable and peaceful little stay. My best friend and I were looking for a place to crash before a rabbit show and this was a perk because we didn't have to bring our own tent. It looked cute online, and then we got here. Pictures Do not do this place Justice. It is so incredibly peaceful from sitting outside the yurt and watching the cows graze in the pasture next door to listening to the birds chirp in the trees and the frogs peep at night. I was incredibly thankful to have a bathroom with a flush toilet because I'm not all about that pit toilet in the woods stuff at my age. The bathroom was super clean and just a few steps away from the camping area. Sarah and (forgive me if I get it wrong) Jeff are great hosts. Jeff checked in on us to see if we needed anything and to make sure we got settled in ok. Mira the guardian dog suckered me in to giving belly rubs with her big beautiful soft eyes. A few kitties popped by to say hello and enjoyed some pets and scritches. I would absolutely stay here again!

Our trip was delayed slightly, but Jeff and Megan were very easy to work with. Even though we arrived much later than expected, we were greeted by Jeff. He met us at the entrance and helped us get parked, took time to show us around even though it was raining.
Jeff and Megan were great hosts, offering suggestions for local food and gas stations. Nice peaceful Hipcamp for our âhalfway to the coastâ stop.

We had a great time and will definitely be coming back. If you're looking for an affordable, nature-filled escape that works for the whole family â kids, dogs, and all â this is it.
The highlight for our kids was the stream. They spent hours splashing around and exploring the banks â pure, simple fun in nature.
After dark, we had some wildlife visitors come through, which the kids thought was awesome.
Our dogs were completely in their element. Plenty of room to roam and they loved the stream just as much as the kids. Pricing was really reasonable, and there are multiple site options at this location depending on your group size, which is a nice bonus.
We left tired in the best way. Highly recommend for any family looking for a real outdoor experience without breaking the bank.

As a first time solo glamper, this exceeded my expectations. I was greeted by the Megan, her husband, and their dog Myra. Traveling alone can be scary, but Myra was near me all night. She also walked me to the bathroom each time I went. The tent had a heater, as well as a fireplace in the glamping area that I used. In the morning, I got to meet all of the wonderful animals on the farm. With this location being only 30 minutes from Dix park, itâs the perfect place to crash after seeing Thomas Damboâs trolls! Great for a group camping trip, but I loved doing it solo.

I loved tent camping on Meganâs homestead! Even though it rained the whole night, my pup and I felt very warm and safe tucked in their wooded trees. So thankful for access to an indoor sink and toilet! The farm animals are adorable and fun, and the whole family was very welcoming and hospitable! âď¸ Americas finest!

We had such a good stay on Meganâs land. We tent camped with our 2 year old for 2 nights and he absolutely loved seeing the animals and playing by the creek. We didnât make it for him to feed the animals but there is so many to see, kids would absolutely love this experience. The whole family was so helpful and friendly. Just the right amount of privacy. We have nothing bad to say and would absolutely stay with them again!
