DuPont Bike Retreat is located 1/4 mile from the Fawn Lake Access area into DuPont State Forest. The DBR is 37 acres and has a pond with a dock and numerous camping sites available. The property used to hold Glass Feather Studio, which was a glass art studio and is now Glass Feather Lodge. The mountain view from the indoor porch is amazing and there are several places to relax and enjoy this view. There is an outdoor shower behind the lodge and an indoor bathroom off the porch. The lower Pond area of the property has port-a-johns near the pond, and outdoor showers may be available as well in 2022 . Firewood is included, and there are woodsheds on both the upper and lower property where you can get your own wood. Come enjoy the forest straight from your campsite!

An awesome spot for the weekend! We all had a great time with easy access to mtb trails, hiking, Oscar blues and even went canoeing the French broad via Headwaters outfitters. Great place to stay! We will be back again soon!

Great camp site!
Great camp site! In the middle of the woods so it’s beautiful during the day, Todd has wood pre-cut and easily accessible. Everything is easy to find on the property. We will definitely be back. Pro Tip: do not try to drive to the Pond Camp sites in the dark - the roads are steep and narrow and it’s incredibly hard to see.

Our favorite!
This campground has easy access to great trails, food, and beer! Cathi and Todd are friendly and considerate hosts- they even supply firewood! It’s our favorite place to stay in the area.

We very much enjoyed our stay at DuPont Bike Retreat! We parked our camper van in site 1 with plenty of space and privacy. Firewood ready to go at our site, very much appreciated as we came in late. Hosts are super friendly with a sweet older dog and have built a primitive trail to access DuPont state forest trails nearby which was a great addition. They have so many plans to continue working on the property. We are excited to return in the future and stay longer next time to enjoy the amazing amenities like the hot tub and outdoor shower
