It is a beautiful drive past several farms and open country to the Angry Orchard location. It's easy to miss so keep your eyes open for the big black mailbox with white lettering.
The dirt road is a little on the rough side and if you have a low vehicle you may have some difficulty in some spots. I have a Jeep so for me it is not a problem, not that you need one but just go easy.
We were supposed to meet someone at the house to give us directions to the actual camp site. The dogs were barking but it looked like no one was there. We drove around trying to find our spot. No luck, (looking for #1) we found out it is a catch-all for any camp site, but not necessarily yours.
We wound our way back to the house, same dogs, just no people!!
After several phone attempts I made contact and let Randall know we are not having luck here finding our site. We were told site 8 but it was stocked with two bent up canoes and we both looked and found no fire ring or a table. Undeterred we found a perfect spot #7 with a fire ring, and a big wooden wire spool as a more than adequate table. This spot has a river right next to it!
Although not our "spot", and I was a little frustrated trying to reach someone, I was staying here! After a while Randall came down to meet us and brought some of the firewood we prepaid for. He was very friendly and was sharing his history with the property.
We also pre-paid for breakfast, and while Randall was visiting us we mentioned we would be at the house
