Brewery Trip with Friends
Loved the site and the surrounding area! The stream water was pretty cold but the river warmed up. Came up here to visit a bunch of breweries but loved having a secluded campsite to come back to.

Brian was a friendly host! He greeted me upon arrival and gave me a tour of the campsites. Tranquil creek side camping with multiple campsites available and hiking trails around the river with convenient access for fishing and swimming.

Patterson Creek Camp
Nice spot!
I stayed in my small camper at the clearing on the creek. Nice level spots to park the camper. No frills camping with a shared fire pit. Outhouse and porta-potty were conveniently located and the porta-potty was spotless. My stay was quiet and peaceful. Late August, ZERO bugs.
Patterson Creek is beautiful and I loved falling asleep to the sound of flowing water. If you walk under the bridge and down the creek just a bit, you can walk right out toward the Hudson River. It was awesome.
Brian was welcoming and kind and was there to greet me on arrival and answer any questions. Would definitely stay again. The campsite is about a half hour from Bolton Landing. Easy access to Lake George.

Patterson Creek Camp
A very spacious site, next to a wadeable/swimmable stream leading to the Hudson. It was nice to fall asleep to the sound of the stream. The site felt very private. Host was gracious and friendly and helped us get settled in. We were there just for a quick overnight (in late/out early), but enjoyed the time we were there.

Owner is unreliable, Double booked
Owner double booked our campsite. We arrived at 7pm after a long 5 Hour Drive with a car full of kids. A large group of campers that were already set up in the spot I had reserved. The owner told me that they had been coming here for three years but he had another spot he could put us. He showed us a tent spot but there was no way to drive our camper van/truck trailer down there. They would have fit just fine in the site I originally booked. He told me he didn’t realize that we were not tent camping but I went through our whole message and conversation and VERY clearly explained to him our vehicles, what size they were and the fact that we would be there with young children. Then he brought us to a third spot that had a camper set up on it already and we essentially had to set up out campsite around an old trailer that was his “friends” who wasn’t using it. He offered to give me $50 back of the $170 I paid but we booked this site months out… Took off of work… planned everything around having a waterfront spot and go in the car for a 5 Hour Dr. based off of the site I booked. It wasn’t about the money, I could’ve gladly paid more for a lakefront spot or somewhere else but now we were stuck here and the sun was going down and we had just got the whole family out of the car from driving for hours so we just had to stay there. The spot with the deck is a really nice spot, but the owner, Who may be a really nice person, is not reliable.

Great host! Water and peace
Brian met us upon arrival and gave us a quick tour of the area. We were the only ones camping there that first night and had our choice of sites. The next morning we ran into brian as we were walking the property and mentioned going into town for supplies and breakfast. He told us he has chickens and would gladly give us some eggs. We told him we’d not planned well enough and hadn’t brought a frying pan. When we returned from town there was a frying pan and a dozen eggs sitting on our table. So kind! Fresh from his own chickens that morning! It was the perfect mix of being there when we needed anything and leaving us alone to enjoy the peace of the wilderness. The sounds of Patterson creek and the Hudson River lulled us to sleep. I had been planning on camping other places this summer but after this experience I’ll likely be headed back to that same spot. Just wonderful! This was my first time using hipcamp and I’m hooked.

Nice site but needs rules
Overall we had a good experience. Brian is a kind and helpful host and helped set up my tent. The site was smaller than expected but we made it work and Brian made some helpful suggestions on where to set up our tents. The only problem was there was a large group at the main site and they were clearly there to party. They were lighting off 1/4 sticks of dynamite all night and shooting guns. While this would have been annoying no matter the time it went on well into the night. I would suggest some quiet hours and a ban on explosives but otherwise it was a good trip.

It is a beautiful bit of land. Excellent creek and easy way to the Hudson River.
There are 4 camp spots. We had site #2. Brian is an amazing host and fun guy to be around. Five out of five, would return for sure!

If I could give this spot a ten out of five stars, I would.
First time Hipcamp user and I couldn’t be more thankful this was my first experience. My boyfriend, our pups, and I found this spot for my birthday get away and absolutely had a blast. The site was exactly what I was looking for. Brian has 4 beautiful spots and looking to add, whichever spot you get, you will not be disappointed. From walking the creek to the river , walking the railroad tracks to see the beautiful views the area has to offer, to just hanging out around a fire at our site the weekend was beyond perfect. I truly can not thank Brian enough. We are excited to come back!

Patterson Creek Camp
We loved our drive-up camp spot on Brian’s land! We hammocked right along the creek in a private, wooded area and fell asleep to the sound of the water. We were especially glad our spot had an established fire pit and chairs and table. Brian is friendly and welcoming and communicates well on the app. There was a bathroom, trash can and water available in a central spot. Best part is how close it is to Lake George village, but it could be a vacation in and of itself because it was more quiet and less busy which our old dog appreciates.

Great spot just 15 mins from Lake George and an hour from the high peaks wilderness. Owner is super nice and helpful. We forgot our rain fly and he saved the day with a tarp for us to use for our tent. Will be back for the next adventure!

We enjoyed our time by the river and in the woods. The camping spots were pretty private and located right by the river, which was lovely. We had a few hiccups but overall brain was very accommodating!

Double River Action
Amazing location! Right on smaller mountain river where it flows into the Hudson River. Perfect for wading, swimming and floating. Kept the kids busy for hours.
Convenient to Lake George and other Adirondack sites.
Brian was a great host. Very friendly and accommodating.

Generous Host, Gorgeous Site!
We loved this site! First, and most importantly, Brian was an excellent host. He was extremely responsive, flexible, and generous.
The site itself was large, with several places to pitch a tent, a huge fire pit, and gorgeous creekside view. Nearby were some abandoned railroad tracks that we also scampered up for a view of the lake. Everything was cleaned and as advertised.

I spent a week there. Great, quiet place. Few miles away from Warrensburg. The campsite is next to a creek for a quick bath. There is water available. Brian is very helpful and was kind enough to let me charge some of my electronics.

Forest retreat
Perfect overnight spot! We sadly only stayed the night but would’ve loved to enjoy more time here. Really spacious and beautiful site and super friendly hosts. We arrived late but Brian was out there with a flashlight to show us to our spot. We spent the day paddle boarding in Lake George and came here to wrap up our trip. Thanks, Brian!

The campsite location couldn’t be beat! The location was both scenic and secluded. Brian was a very nice and generous host, let me pick which campsite I wanted (he has four), helped me get a fire started, and gave me some farm fresh eggs from his chickens. I definitely recommend this campsite to anyone passing through the Warrensburg area!

We will be back!!
Such an awesome time! Brian met us with extreme professionalism as he welcomed us to his property. We were on the two “smaller” sites next to the larger, gravel site. Very secluded, clean, and equipped. Each site had a table and chair set, and a fire pit…were cleared for “kitchen” and tent set-up, and the one site offered entry into Patterson Creek. We were greeted on our second day by a group of “yearly” campers who occupied the gravel site. We soon became friends with them and used their site as access to the Hudson. The Hudson was shallow and we planted our chairs in to sit all day as we let the dogs play and web soaked up the sun. As the sun sank and we returned to our campsites, Brian wandered in with fresh eggs for us from his chickens, and enjoyed the campfire into the night. Lots of laughs we shared and we were able to live freely, play out music and just be “us” the entire time. If you’re looking for a getaway with no strings, this is the place! Thanks Brian 😊
