We invite you to come camp on 77 acres of varied land.  Woods, fields, swimming pond, hiking trails, goats, and possibly even other campers, although it's very private if that's how you'd like it.  You may be perfectly content staying put, but if you seek small town offerings, Chatham (15 minutes away) offers restaurants, art galleries, a brewery, movie theatre, two bakeries, and some shops.  We are half an hour from Hudson, and in the midst of plentiful Berkshire and Hudson Valley hiking, biking, antiquing, and sightseeing opportunities. Enjoy the big view from the highest corner of the big field.  This is a sweet little campsite set in a birch grove with a view to the Catskills, and lots of wildlife.  Two minute walk from your car, and a five minute walk to a swimming pond and a composting toilet outhouse. Near Chatham, New York where there is a brewery, cheese shop, bakery, restaurants, and a movie theatre.  We are half an hour from Hudson, and in the midst of plentiful Berkshire and Hudson Valley hiking, biking and sightseeing opportunities. Early check-in and late check-out are often fine; just ask. *Special note for winter campers: depending on both snowfall and what you are driving, the parking locations may change.  In all cases, we will be happy to either ferry you via our 4WD, or help you carry your stuff in.  The winter is really fun and beautiful. It's really nice here and we're happy to share it.  Land acknowledgement: We are on the unceded land of the Stockbridge Munsee Mohicans. Black Lives Matter.

Birch Camp
We love camping on Will’s land. We stayed at the Birch site this time and had incredible views. Also swam in the family’s pond, we had such a good time perfect end to summer before going back to school

Birch Camp
Beautiful views, refreshing swims
I would highly recommend staying at William’s place. The Birch Camp site is so beautiful, spacious and private. I enjoyed the views of the distant hills, the breeze that kept the bugs at bay, and the extremely nice swimming hole that William and his family generously share with their guests. Birch Camp is also conveniently close to great hikes, restaurants, and attractions throughout the Berkshires and Hudson Valley. This was my second time staying with them and definitely not my last!

Creekside tent camp
This was a great site for our kids’ first camping experience. The campsite was private and peaceful. Our kids loved walking the creek and looking for frogs. William’s instructions were very clear and we had everything we needed (William even left us several gallons of water).
