Excellent camping spot which I would definitely recommend. Toilets and showers are a definite luxury especially with the hot water. Our group had the whole campsite to ourselves, plenty of firewood for the fires every night. M1 is a little close so would recommend earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Tranquil Haven Amidst Nature
Nestled amidst the serene embrace of nature, Wy-la Cooranbong offers a delightful escape for outdoor enthusiasts seeking solace and adventure. My recent stay at this camping site was an unforgettable experience, filled with tranquil moments and exciting outdoor activities. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the picturesque surroundings. The campsite is strategically located, surrounded by lush greenery and towering trees, creating a sense of seclusion and tranquility. The soothing sounds of chirping birds and rustling leaves instantly made me feel at peace, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The facilities at Wy-la Cooranbong exceeded my expectations. The campground was well-maintained and equipped with clean restroom facilities and ample space for setting up tents. The designated fire pits provided a cozy ambiance for evening gatherings and marshmallow roasting sessions under the starlit sky.

Great spot in Cooranbong, had lots of space to ourselves. Toilets and showers are nice and new (with proper hot water too) The M1 is close which means it's easy to get to and lake Macquarie is not far away. But if you're a very light sleeper, consider some ear plugs. Would recommend for anyone looking for an easy weekend under the stars
