Set on 40 acres of farmland / bushland at Laguna in the Hunter Valley, our property offers a quiet, nature-based camping experience for guests looking to slow down and switch off. Surrounded by native forest and open paddocks, this is a spacious, uncrowded place to relax, reconnect with nature, and enjoy true country stillness. This is a working farm, home to goats, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys and abundant native wildlife. Kangaroos, wallabies, possums, wombats, birds, and the occasional koala. Campsites are thoughtfully spaced to maintain privacy, with plenty of room for tents, campervans, and off-road caravans. There are no crowds here - just space, fresh air, and big skies. Days can be spent bushwalking around the property, relaxing at your campsite, or exploring the surrounding Wollombi and Hunter Valley region. Local wineries, historic villages, national parks, and scenic drives are all within easy reach. Evenings are particularly special, with minimal light pollution, clear views of the stars, and the sounds of the bush settling for the night. Campfires are permitted when conditions allow, making this an ideal spot for cool evenings and simple outdoor living. Whether you’re visiting as a couple, a family, or a solo traveller, this is a place to unwind rather than be entertained.

Waterside (Dam) Campsite - Western

Tent site · Sleeps 6
This small, peaceful campsite sits on the western side of the dam, right at the water’s edge. It’s a flat, level spot best suited to one or two tents, making it ideal for couples or a small group looking for a quiet, nature-focused stay. Vehicle access is limited by the dam’s spillway, so cars can’t be driven directly onto the site. However, you can park nearby (around 20 metres away) and carry your gear across. If you’re after a simple, scenic place to camp beside the water, with open views and a calm rural atmosphere, this is one of the nicest spots on the property.
