Another great stay

Another great stay with Dean. Weather was pretty average but the camp site held up really well considering the amount of rain. Dean did offer to allow us to postpone due to the weather forecast but we were keen to get there. Despite the weather the river temp was still warm enough to swim and we had a great time. We’ll be coming back again next year.

Trailer Camp Site Review

Absolutely breath taking views. The sound of the river and privacy was incredible. Dean was very accommodating and gave us updates as our stay neared and also a run down on the facilities and other site opportunities. We had to leave at short notice due to a family emergency and Dean was very understanding and allowed up to leave site and return to collect our camper. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Dean

Deans place was a great campsite and he was an easy host that let you have total privacy . The river was perfect for swimming. There was plenty of flat space to camp and grass was all mown . The portaloo was clean and made camping easier . We would highly recommend and we will definitely be back such a lovely spot .

Brilliant site on a stunning river

We loved this camp site it was absolutely heaven and Dean the host is great and super helpful. The site was superb - a perfectly flat mowed area in a beautiful grove of trees by some little rapids. Dean provides a large bbq with a hob which means you can leave your cooking gear at home if you wish and a very clean porta loo which was a huge luxury and very much appreciated. The rope swing into the river was a huge hit for the kids. We used SUP’s and a kayak/inflatables to paddle up river to get to the swing and spent every day there for hours. Endless fun. It’s a stunning beautifully property with a magnificent river with wide deep swimming holes where you can have a really good swim or fish if you like. We saw lots of jumping fish. Highly recommended.

Great spot to camp and cool off

Great spot on the river, well shaded and protected from the windy weather we had during our stay. Beautifully maintained with a deep swimming section out front, and good access. Due to warmer than usual spring weather, the river was a good swimming temperature. Dean was very helpful. We will be returning.

Absolute pristine campground in natures best. Thoroughly enjoyed the Kookaburras, Currawong, Rosella, Fairy wren, Magpies and a couple more songbirds we didnt recognise. Bandicoots played in/around our camp at night and I caught an Australian Bass from the kayak as an added bonus. On site portaloo a winner for the missus as well. Dean is a great host and an all round nice guy. Thanks Dean, would definately come back.

Fantastic location, very well presented. River was excellent but the bass were a little shy? Great for getting away and forgeting the digital world. Dean dropped in and we had a great chat. Will be back for sure.

Beautiful secluded spot a creek

We LOVED this camp site and will definitely be back. Dean is very accomodating and even drops a portable toilet to the site before you arrive which our group thought was a big plus. You are right next to a beautiful fresh water creek and a short walk to a beautiful swimming hole and rope swing. Lots of wood available for camp fires on site as well.

Lush heaven next to the river

We had such a good time at Yarras east! The upkeep is beautiful, and we felt completely isolated in our own paradise on the river. And even though we experienced pretty heavy rainfall, Dean was so helpful every step of the way, before and during our stay! I hope we can go back soon. Thanks Dean!

Our stay at Yarras was fantastic. Dean was a great host, helpful but also giving us privacy etc. The camp was spotlessly clean and sets a very high standard. We had a great time and We would definitely come back again.

This was our first youcamp experience and we hit gold with this site. The host was very welcoming and showed us to our site. The site was peaceful and had absolutely everything needed for a weekend away. The kids thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the river and the highlight was the turtles. Perfect!

Yarras East is the most magical spot. We had the Fireside campsite and it was just divine for our family camping trip. We caught lots of fish and feed the turtles. There was even a treehouse and bush cubby house. We had our floatila of inflatible things to paddle the river. Thanks Dean and Mel!

Wow Wow, cannot rate Yarras East highly enough. Everything was exactly as the pics in the gallery. The nice surprise was the hooded BBQ down at the site which made it all to easy and definitely cannot forget to mention Dean's hospitality and how genuine the experience was made by this great host.

Where is that pesky sixth star?? Cannot rate the campsite (complete with sanity saving river on such a hot weekend with the kids) or the hosts high enough. Dean and Melissa really were genuinely great and very pleasant to deal with. Thanks so much!!

Dean & Melissa should be incredibly proud of how they present their property & what they offer. We had such an incredible time on the river kayaking, swimming & fishing. Beautiful views & the sites being exclusive to your group is the icing on top. Will be back again without a doubt.
