Beautiful and remote location. Close to MTB trails. Mosquitoes, horse flies and cicadas were intense.
Was unsure where to camp given the host was not around to provide any information. Finding the property entrance was tricky. It would be helpful to have the lot number in the directions.

We enjoyed camping here - amazing to have complete privacy, but also access to a toilet and bathroom. The location is a short drive to mountain biking trails, and some great surf breaks. We chose to spend full days out and about, and came back to the camp when the sun was cooler in the afternoons.

Marty was super friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. What made our stay even more special was the wild kangaroos roaming around the fields.

Location was great. Peaceful and mostly quiet apart from the grasshoppers or cicadas. A 20 min drive to all the surf beaches and Woolgoolga town centre.
Felt a bit weird walking into use the bathroom as was attached to the house. This could have been alleviated if we had managed to meet Marty around when we first arrived. He was always quick to respond to any communications and questions. Would have been good to experience some of the local walks etc but we didn’t have time.
Will come back in the future.

We were staying between Christmas and NYE and this seemed like the best option for our needs. 3 nights turned to 2 as a storm rolled through.
Good as a base if you plan on going out every day but not much to do if you're staying onsite
Pros:
- Having access to a flushing toilet and proper shower
- Seeing kangaroos on the property
- Not crowded
- Host was pleasant
Cons:
- Had to drive to the bathroom every time we wanted to use it
- Hadnt been much rain leading up to our stay so the ground was very hard and lots of prickly weeds. Creek was also dry
- Horse flies were a nightmare
- Intermittent phone service with Telstra
- Doesnt matter which grounds you book, its first come first serve

We loved our night away at Upper Corindi Gold! Beautiful quiet area just minutes from the beach, Arrawarra and Woolgooga. Marty always responded very quickly. When we arrived some Kangaroos were waiting to greet us. We originally asked for a shady spot, but Marty was really flexible when we preferred the open spot due to the heat. He came over to see if everything was good and if there was anything else we needed. The toilet was up the hill next to the big house, including even a shower and bath! Peaceful camping, would definitely recommend!

It was a great spot to get away and have a camp fire under the stars and not be disturbed by neighbouring campers. Marty provides a wonderful location and a laugh, will definitely come back down and enjoy this spot.

Martyn was very hospitable and answered all my questions promptly + gave advice on the good beaches and pubs in the area. The campsites are quite private and far enough from the house and other campers. You have access to a toilet, shower and delicious rain water which are attached to the main house. The paddock we stayed in would have been more enjoyable if the grass was cut a week prior to our arrival and dead grass removed from the area. Otherwise the property itself and surrounding forest and creek were really beautiful.

The host was very kind and welcoming. We had a nice camp site in the bend of a creek. We were able to see kangaroos and wallabies. The toilet was a short walk from our site and was nice with running water. If you are traveling between Brisbane and Sydney and want a place to spend the night and break your drive up over two day, you should look at staying at Creek Flat.
