Well-maintained camping grounds
Great camping spot right on the river. Nice bathroom/shower area. Horses, kangaroos and goats around. Very family friendly. No reception is the only downside of our experience but that’s up to one’s preference.

Better than expected! Land is kept perfectly, wild life and pets all combined gave the stay an extra touch. We went with our dog camping, next to the river. Good amenities available, major benefit hot showers during winter. Great communication from the host, clear directions given with plenty of notice. We will visit 100% again.

What a beautiful spot. Turon Gates and the surrounding area has always been a favourite of mine. The river is so peaceful and such a nice place to stay a couple of days. Was only me and one other at the start of my visit but ended up quite busy by the weekend. This didn’t really impact too much - there is plenty of room between sites and although busy was still so peaceful and relaxing. Definitely will be back
