Private site single group ,site toilet,nobody within 300metres. listed on wikicamps Located at The Channon, we are not far from the well known towns of Nimbin and Lismore (both 20kms away but in different directions) and Byron Bay which is 40km away. Our property is an easy walking distance to the local village where you will find the shop/ general store and the pub is dog friendly. It's around 1km to The Channon Craft Market grounds, and the markets are on the second Sunday of each month. Lots of crafts, clothes, jewellery, gifts, food stalls and entertainers to see and enjoy. This campsite is located right on the banks of the flowing creek. It's a private site with access to two good swimming holes. Enjoy warming your feet around the campfire in the evenings, subject to fireban conditions. We welcome only self-contained campers who bring their own camping shower and drinking water. There is access to rubbish facilities. For those wanting to explore a bit further we are 15kms from Nightcap National Park and the beautiful Protesters Falls. There is a walking track that leads through lush World Heritage rainforest right up to the falls. Well behaved pets are welcome. No hunters.

This campsite is located right on the banks of the flowing creek. It's a private site with access to two good swimming holes. Enjoy warming your feet around the campfire in the evenings, subject to fireban conditions. *Please note that due to the recent rains, the ground right by the creek is very boggy so we ask camping vehicles to park in the upper camping area. Our property is an easy walking distance to the local village where you will find the shop/ general store and the pub. It's around 1km to The Channon Craft Market grounds, and the markets are on the second Sunday of each month. Lots of crafts, clothes, jewellery, gifts, food stalls and entertainers to see and enjoy. We welcome only self-contained campers who bring their own camping /shower and drinking water. There is access to rubbish facilities. The campsite can accommodate 2WDs including tent campers, caravans, fifth wheelers and camper trailers. For those wanting to explore a bit further we are 15kms from Nightcap National Park and the beautiful Protesters Falls. There is a walking track that leads through lush World Heritage rainforest right up to the falls. Good swimming hole with platypus in it for early morning quiet observer's. The township of Nimbin is 20kms away as is Lismore. Byron Bay is 40km away. Well behaved pets are welcome. There is site toilet There is no potable water.

Site 1 small private site shady, over looking terania creek . It is 5 minute walk to shop and local pub which is dog friendly. Suitable for tent camper trailer smaller camper van ,there is access to creek rough and steep. Access to site toilet close by 300 metre walk from camp site.

Great camping spot! Creek is lovely to swim in. Very easy to find and close to the shop. Very relaxing. We will be back!

Beautiful secluded spot, if you forget anything there is a general store minutes away that stocks everything. Made good use of the picnic bench. Large flat area with great grass. Loved the sound of the creek at night. Highly recommended.

Easy to find. Close to The Channon. Great communication. We camped up top next to the road, the lower camps look awesome but not accessible in our 2wd van in the wet. Great place to day trip from too. Recommend.

Perfect spot to relax

My wife and I spent two nights here, it is a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Grounds are kept very well, site is clean and grass is short. Water holes are perfect for a dip and we even saw a little platypus swimming around. The owner is super friendly and helpful, we will be back many times! Don’t miss booking in here.

Came here for a few nights after Christmas with hubby and 3 adult kids and 2 little dogs. (Keep them on longlines as area isn't fenced in.) Absolutely loved it, being in amongst nature, songbirds and no light pollution at night, the stars were amazing to just lay and look at. The space, plenty of room and very well kept. We chose to park the campervan and ⛺️ on the top level as you reach bottom of driveway, as it was a little mushy down by creek. Very little road noise considering its right there. 2 firepits onsite that we could move to where ever and the toilet 🚻 was very handy to have onsite. This was placed a little walk from camp-site but that, I liked as there was no stinky smells around this way. It hit 41° and there was plenty of shade and the creek to refresh in. Our campervan did struggle getting back up the main drive, but this could be because it had a lot of weight in the back end, nothing in the front. Corner store and tavern just 5min walk down the road if you're needing anything. Will definately come back. Thanks Anthony.

The place is really nice with a creek and near nightcap national park ! We recommend it even if it’s near a road and that the place is not flat (you still have places where you can be on flat parcel). We got the all place for ourselves which was pleasant :)

We had a great stay here, nice grass to camp on, right next to a flowing creek. The creek was lovely to swim in and had plenty of fish and we even saw a platypus. Close to waterfalls.

What a beautiful little piece of paradise. We absolutely loved our stay at terrific Terania. Perfect private spot, with plenty of room to set up camp and a beautiful running creek to cool down in. Already looking forward to our next stay.

Such an awesome private spot. There’s heaps of room with a beautiful creek all to ourselves. Plenty of flat spots for our little Jayco camper. All the grass area is very well kept with a great fire pit. We loved our stay here.

Lovely private spot. Close to store and pub if you want but far enough to feel a lifetime away. 2WD ok at the very top of it, recommend 4x4 for lower areas. Lots of room, brilliant running creek. Amazing birdlife and just the spot to reset from the real world. Just wish we had more than 2 nights. Slight bit of traffic noise may bother some but was mostly in daylight hours for day trippers to the falls which I’d highly recommend.

Really lovely spot by a babbling creek. Close to shop and pub at The Channon. Great communication from host. Very close to road so there's car noise (it's the road to Protesters Falls) and not fully fenced so a bit risky for dogs (especially dumb ones like mine).

Lovely spot on the river, bit boggy in the morning but no issue in a 4WD. Campfire pits are well located but definitely bring plenty of wood. River was freezing but really peaceful. Very sheltered and private. Bring levellers. Would definitely be back.

Easy walk down to the Channon, great tavern, good food, friendly locals and delicious bacon egg rolls from the general store. Everything we were looking for on a rainy weekend after a week out bush.

Beautiful peaceful place to camp. We only stayed one night but it would be a great place to take the family as there is so much space and you get the whole place to yourself. Wonderful swimming hole, lots of exploring up the creek and fishing. Old school camping with a firepit but it also has a toilet. Will stay again and bring a longer set up. Close to the local shop and pub for a feed also.

This is a great private site. Communication was great and we were taken care of. The added toilet was a perk which hadn’t been there the previous time we had stayed. Was a great new years show watching the creek rise.

Beaut little spot, one site so no worries about other campers. Nice little Rocky water holes, great for a swim. Plenty of Birdlife and eastern water dragons everywhere. Will be back for sure.
