Great bush camp. We camped on the bush block away from the glamping. There were people there, but we couldn't see or hear then at all. Wonderfully quiet and remote.
Its a bit hard to access the dam, make sure you ask Vicky how.
Lovely people and a great spot for a couple of nights exploring the region.

The Outlook - Bell Tent
If you are looking for a perfect glamping experience, look no further. Vicky and Brian have nailed it at the Stockyard Experience - breathtaking scenery, complete privacy, gas bbq and pizza ovens, spacious bell tents with comfy beds with hot showers and flushing toilets - what more could you ask for? Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to be back.

Amazing place to stay!!! The Glamping tents are awesome. Beautifully done.Views and the spot are beautiful!!! The host are ready to help and very prompt. And the hoodies are well worth getting.

The Outlook - Bell Tent
My family and I cannot recommend The Stockyard Experience enough!
The property is situated in an amazing area in Mumbil, yet still conveniently located a short distance from Wellington. The camp is well equipped—tents are spacious, the beds comfortable, the amenities clean and well maintained. As other reviewers have mentioned, Vicky and Brian are amazing host; who were prompt and open in their commutation from start to finish of our booking. Not only were they hospitable and warm, but they also incorporated small touches around the camp to make our stay even more welcoming.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time and definitely look forward to coming back the next opportunity we get to unplug and unwind.

Amazing glamping spot! All the best parts of camping with luxury thrown in - the hosts have thought of everything. Heated tents. Hot shower. Flushing loo. Gas bbq. Gas Pizza oven. Wood bbq. Solar lighting in kitchen area and tents. Diesel heating in tents. Amazing beds and linens.
The location is lovely - private hill top and heaps of space. Sunrises and sunsets.
Fabulous few days! Will be back…

This place is awesome. An expanse of beautiful bush bordering state forest, an abundance of wildlife, no other Campers around, and a giant fireplace with loads of wood to burn. Vicky and Brian were super accomadating, and have thought of everything for a glamping trip , without robbing it of the camping experience. I'll be back for sure...

All went well. Weather, facilities , views, Outdoor setting. Hosts were good they have made all arrangements to the T. They provided us with tent heater which made our camping experience even more pleasant. Vicky and Brian were easy to talk to and reach out too.

The stockyard experience has to be one of the best places to camp. If you want seclusion, peace and beauty then this is the place to be. I loved it so much that I came back for a second visit only a few weeks later!
Vicky and Brian are the nicest people you will ever come across on this earth. They make you feel safe, welcome and a part of the family. Vicky took me to her property to meet her pet deer “Lucy” and her offspring “Barnsey” and oh my gosh they are the cutest and I am so grateful that Vicky took the time to drive me down to the house to meet them.
The perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney (kids and husband too)
I will be returning yet again, hopefully very soon.
Thank you Vicky and Brian.
They also supply wood ready to go in the fire pit! And lots to collect around you.

The Outlook - Bell Tent
The experience at The Outlook is absolutely amazing. Vicky and Brian are lovely hosts, they were very responsive and eager to help whenever needed. The thought and effort that they have put into this camping site is commendable. The amenities and the set up was better than what we expected.
It’s the perfect getaway if you are looking for some peace and quiet while also having access to great facilities.
We would definitely recommend this experience to everyone!

Second visit, love the place. Glamping at its best. Facilities are clean and very functional, with the most comfortable bed. Hosts are warm and welcoming, look forward to visiting for a third time..

Lovely hosts and very helpful and accommodating.
Unfortunately the campsite was quite small and on a slope.
Shale and rocks and no shade at all.
On such a large property it was very disappointing that only one spot was available, apart from a glamping tent set up.

Vicky and Brian have created a fantastic glamping site filled with thoughtful comforts and loads of creativity. The views are beautiful any time of the day but the sunsets are breathtaking. We loved being away from it all surrounded by sky and bush. The visit to see the deers was a highlight. The entire region is spectacular to drive through- a thorough recommendation all round.

The Stockyard Experience was simply amazing. Vicky & Brian were so welcoming, which was a wonderful start. The location is just stunning. Vicky and Brian have put some detailed thought and careful consideration into decking out the bell tent and immediate vicinity, which left us wanting for absolutely nothing. We have had the most wonderful time staying here, and can't wait to come back soon to see the next instalment!!

Our stay at the Outlook was absolutely amazing. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hosts go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Meeting and feeding the pet deer was definitely a highlight from our trip! We definitely recommend this site and we look forward to staying again soon! Thank you Vicky and Brian!

The Stockyard experience is a very nice place to stay at.
Vicky and Brian were very welcoming, polite and kind . The camp site was very nice and peaceful.
And having firewood on location makes its easy to have a nice fire

Such amazing hosts and a beautiful spot. Plenty of communication and they were so kind that if we were running late offered to start the campfire for us.
The host greeted us at the gate and took us to the camp spot where it was clean and tidy and plenty of firewood that has already been gathered for our use. After that the host gave my kids some fire sparklers which made their night amazing.
Incredibly wonderful people and a beautiful spot quiet peaceful and private.

We had an absolute ball staying in Vicki and Brian’s belle tent on their property. It’s in a beautiful location with heaps of privacy. Vicki and Brian make sure everything is looked after. We loved our stay at The Outlook, Brian & Vicky went above and beyond for us. The tent was warm, cozy and super comfy. The fire kept us nice & warm while we cooked dinner on the other fire bbq, there was plenty of wood around that was super accessible! The toilet & shower was well stocked, and very clean. We had everything we needed for over night. Very private spot too, which was great for a couple’s weekend. We also fed the pet deer, found out Lucy isn’t a fan of cabbage until after the carrot was all gone. 😂
We will recommend to anyone we see, absolutely best thing we did! We can’t wait to come back. 😍

We loved the Stockyard Experience! Vicky and Brian are amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We got to see a beautiful sunrise and sunset.
Everything we needed was provided on site: a comfortable bed, clean toilets, and ample privacy.
We had brought our dog with us, and since pets are not allowed inside the tent, Vicky and Brian arranged a comfortable setting for our dog to sleep in. You can bring your own tents and pitch them if you have more people. We will definitely be going back.

Our hosts Vicky and Brian are a great team and greeted us with smiles. They simply could not have been better hosts.
The tent "OMG", was incredibly comfortable and roomy. Our stay consisted of some rain and a super cold night, however the outside fire and diesel heater for the tent made it so toasty, it was hard to leave, but we will definitely be back. The amenities are rustic and on point. The Deer love a feed of fresh Lucerne , hay or carrots, so remember to bring some along... beautiful animals!
